Bought this j5create USB Type A to Dual HDMI Adapter - Dual HDMI Multi Display Convertor for an old laptop that does not have a USB c port. This works great!What is also a bonus is that I use it to send one HDMI to the Sound Bar and the other HDMI to the TV screen for our church services - A feature that some splitters do not do!

Does Exactly What It Says
Been using this dual adapter for a few weeks now on a Windows laptop. It is very handy. It allows me to use 3 external monitors with my laptop (one through HDMI out and 2 more using this device). The only slight issue for me is that the 2 monitors connected through this device have a slight lag on display. When I minimise and maximise windows, there is a noticeable lag to the smoothness of the animation. However, I am a web developer and do not need all 3 screens to have perfect animation smoothness. I have only noticed it on windows closing/minimising/maximising. Video playback seems fine.Overall I am very happy with this product. I have yet to try it with a MacBook.

No fiddling, No fuss
Works first time around, connect the HDMI cables to the adapter and plug the USB to either your PC or Mac (tested both) and it works first time around. Need no for any drivers. Build quality is great and beautifully designed. Price is far more reasonable compared to its rivals too. I have connected the USB to an extender cable and it works perfectly. Love it!!

Der EINZIGE Adapter, der insg. 3 Monitore gleichzeitig erlaubt!!
Abgesehen davon, dass das der im Moment einzige Adapter auf Amazon ist, der tatsächlich 2 externe Monitore GLEICHZEITIG erlaubt (es gibt viele Adapter hier, bei denen erst in der Beschreibung steht, dass nur 1 weiterer Monitor gleichzeitig angezeigt wird – also Achtung beim Kauf), ist das zugleich der einzige Adapter, der auf meinem ASUS Vivobook funktioniert. Dies liegt daran, dass der Vivobook einen intergrierten kleinen Multifunktionsmonitor/Touchpad hat, und in den Anzeigefunktionen immer als Zweitmonitor erkannt wird – hier blieb mir immer nur die Möglichkeit, einen externen Monitor direkt mit dem internen HDMI-Anschluss zu verbinden. Somit hatte ich keine Möglichkeit, 2 externe Arbeitsmonitore anzuschließen, da auch die Multifunktionsadapter mit usb c auf 2 hdmi, usb, usb-c etc. vom Laptop einfach nicht erkannt werden. Somit: Spitzenadapter, der wirklich funktioniert!! Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da erst gekauft.

Compact and functional
Compact device that works well with my 4 year old laptop. I was able to extend laptop to 2 additional screens. I noticed that there is a big difference in quality of the HDMI and HDMI 4k. Would be good if they were both HDMI 4k outputs.
