Great camera, the seller is sending me a new cable so that issue is below here. Old review: Camera has some issues right out of the box with the USB cable connecting to the micro chip that I have to keep pushing the wires into the plug or the camera disconnects and makes a click noise. I have taped the connection and I have to push the wires in but I can set it up to record for hours as s long as I don't move it around and disconnect it on accident. I guess you get what you pay for, they must sell more of these without the case on which makes them the cheapest night vision web cam. Great picture, 60 fps, and night vision works really well just a "different" approach to selling bare bones equipment. I may have to learn how to solder the wires to get them to stop disconnecting.Dont be afraid to tweek it.

Great product, works for vrc face tracking

This camera is good for my Raspberry pi's. The picture quality is better than I expected and it's good at night vision also. I bought 2 for my 2 Raspberry Pi's, Octoprint and made stands and covers for them with my 3d printers. I also uploaded the files on thingiverse, so that who ever buys them can make covers and stands for them. I'm giving them 4 stars because I think they are priced a little too high compared to other Raspberry Pi cams.

Plug and play simplicity to get vision on an rpi and similar boards. I'm using it on a biqu manta board with great success under Klipper.

Replaced a traditional Raspberry Pi Cam with this because I wanted nightvision capabilities and also cannot stand the ribbon cables that the pi cam uses. This is a fantastic camera for utilizing as a camera to monitor 3D printing and if you wanted, timelapses of your prints. While the quality of the video is not modern day smart phone quality, it looks very clean and for purposes of being able to see how a print is going on my 3D printer (what my intended use was for). Love that I can turn the garage lights off and be able to see the print status in the dark. The FOV of the camera also gives me pretty much a full view of my printer bed while being mounted right on my Ender 5 Plus frame. Only Cons: - A bit big overall, especially compared to the pi camera - Gets pretty hot. Granted its attached to a 3d printer but just feels really warm all the time. - Wish the IR emitters and sensor were on shorter leads. They stick out farther than seems necessary but could be for coverage reasons since the lens is rather large. Definitely a fan of this camera and who thought I would be so excited about a USB connection.

It works great for security and as a dash cam on my car. Mounted to the sun visor. The focus could be better but what can you do? I've used it with a raspberry pi original and pi 5, fswebcam and ffmpeg.

great little camera. but hard to make real-world use of its potential without a 3d printer to make a housing/enclosure. if your use is bare-board, you will be happy with it. disconnecting the power wire on the board does not disable the ir leds, it leaves the mechanical ir cut filter in whatever position it was last in. the camera can see in color during daylight with the filter out of the way (naturally in that scenario some bright areas wash out). it is impressive the low light color that this camera can see, and the ir picture is crisp. wish they had a model that was just this camera, but no ir filter at all and sans leds (bring your own light). this camera with an otg cable and the right app on the right vr headset makes for great night vision that promptly handles light passing by.

Works with the Creality Sonic Pad. The night vision is great. Anti-flicker frequency is 50hz by default, can be changed to 60hz on a computer, but changes back to 50 when plugged into something else. No good for indoor use.

La camera marche bien, dommage il est as possible de contrôler manuellement l'utilisation de la vision nocturne. Le seul moyen est de couvrir le sensor. Aussi faire attention si on regarde trop longtemps les leds on peut avoir de la fatigue oculaire.

Works as expected

Brilliant camera, excellent for my bird nest. Must download Arducam app from the website and adjust settings to get clear IR night picture. Use a led light for daytime to get better color. Gently adjust focus for nest distance. You won't find anything better for the price.
