I have large curls and waves in my long hair and I have been using this product for years. My son has also started using it to tame his long curls. It is gentle, has a great scent, and will not damage your hair. I only use Paul Mitchell products on my hair because they dont damage your hair, wash out easily, and work every time.

I have been using this for no joke...20 years now? Which is pretty insane. I used this through the early 2000s crunchy hard gel look time period and loved it because it didn't make my hair look wet. And then I stopped when we all stopped doing that look and started blowdrying our hair. And now that we can wear our hair natural again, I've brought it back. It takes the hair some time to adjust and get "used" to it. It actually did make my hair a bit crunchy in the beginning but then the hair remembered....oh, this is the good stuff and now it's just perfectly wavy and not frizzy. I have been influenced to buy many things over the years but will always come back for this one.

This is the best product for curly hair. I use it with the relaxing balm. I wet my hair, two pumps from each bottle and then just run it through. The pictures speak for themselves. I go from a hot mess to beautiful curls in under an hour. And it stays like that all day as I am a mail carrier and have the window down all day. Bonus for keeping it tangle free! Highly recommend this!

Love this product. My 4A-4B curls are soft and shiny. However you will have shinkage this product does not address this issue. Also to revive your curls just spray with some water and finger comb and you are good to go. It also works well with other products.

I am very satisfied with the product and have been buying it for many years — everything was always perfect. However, this time the packaging let me down. Normally, it comes sealed with special tape and placed in a protective bag, but this time there was no such packaging. As a result, one of the two bottles was damaged — its dispenser was broken.

I love this product! I have used many Paul Mitchell products in my years of styling my long curly hair. I have always loved his products. This one leaves my curls soft and shiny and the hold is good.

Didn’t curl like I expected

I can't rave enough about Paul Mitchell's curl definer. I've used Paul Mitchell's curl definer many years ago and then switched to a few other products. I'm so glad that I found it again! This curl definer is very lightweight, just need little (less than the size of a nickel) to get soft bouncy curls, doesn't leave any residue, very easy for everyday use, curls don't look frizzy, and adds volume to my fine and thin hair. I'm extremely happy that I found a product that finally meets all my needs. Highly recommend this product to everyone who struggles to add volume to their hair and needs just one product to define their beautiful curls instead of using multiple products.
