Worked very well in practicing trigger use

I'm a new shotgun owner. Have a Mossberg 590a1 and wanted to get some practice loading and working the safety on the gun (obviously without blowing holes into my walls and killing neighbors). I bought 2 packages of these (2 in each package) and have cycled them multiple times and honestly, they work fine. Minimal scratching of the dud shell itself, but nothing significant like others have mentioned in other reviews. They did slightly scratch immediately, but no noticeable chipping or flaking. Haven't had any issues yet with them getting stuck, nor any ejection issues. Good heft, and are very similar to an actual shell. I honestly wish they'd pick some sort of different color, say, a safety orange, so that it's more easily distinguishable from an actual shell. It's definitely different enough, but, for ultimate safety, i think they should have gone with a more distinct color. There are no indentations on the top of the shell, as you'd have with a normal shell, so, even by feel you can tell it's not a live round. Great product and it really helps get you more comfortable (especially for a noob like me) with handling the gun.

I buy these because they last a long time in training classes. Good for teaching a new shooter how to handle their firearm safely without live ammo. The cheaper versions wear out a lot faster so they’re not necessarily a better value.

Works really well for my Winchester 12 gauge. The fit well reloading and extract really well. Highly recommended.

Works as intended, good for training/practicing loading your shotgun quickly. Even though the practice shells do get pretty scratched up through use, it left no damage on the firearm nor have I had any issues extracting the practice shells. Just be careful with keeping track of them, imo, they are very easy to lose.

Solid snap cap, American made

As expected, durable and quality item. Far better than the Tipton all-plastic snap caps I tried first. A must for most double shotguns (especially high-grade over-unders) to prevent damage to firing pins if you want to relax the hammer springs. These guns are widely known to discourage dry-fire.

Bought 4 packs = 8 snap caps for my ks7. Packaging was fine. Easy to open and remove the snapcaps. First thing I noticed is that they came a bit marred. Package says precision milled, but they probably are dumped into a large pile and knick each other before packaging. They loaded into my shotgun no problem, but there is a metal retainer in the gun. You can see from one of my images, it does leave a scratch line on the shells. That's fine. More wearing on the shell hopefully means less wearing on the firearm. All snapcaps cycled flawlessly. My suggestion to folks is to do this away from a wall and hard wood flooring. These are metal and drop with a thud. Left indents on my hardwood. Overall, they function and work as intended. Being that these are metal, depending on the firearm, these could wear out components on the firearm over time. And like standard firearm safety, be aware of your surroundings and where these metal snapcaps could fly out and land. Good made in the USA product.

These Snap Caps work great! These are excellent for getting used to your gun! Which is exactly what I wanted them for. I bought these in Sept, 2018, and they are holding up great!

Excellent quality

Die Patronen sind sehr sauber verarbeitet und passen perfekt. Nach intensiver Nutzung gibt es natürlich Gebrauchsspuren, die Funktion ist aber nach wie vor einwandfrei. Sehr empfehlenswert!
