I ordered my first keyboard and mouse set, but when I got them connected to my computer the cursor was lagging far behind the mouse movements. I returned that set as defective and ordered another set. That replacement set was delivered the very next day after I began the return process for the first one. Their customer service was top-notch in my experience. After the replacement was delivered, I learned that I had plugged the USB chip into a slot intended for a memory device, not a keyboard or mouse. So the first one wasn't defective. My problems were related to user error. However, with the USB plugged into a proper slot, I have used the keyboard and mouse over several days. I've found the mouse fits my hand very well and the buttons are smooth, responsive and almost silent. The keys on the keyboard are very smooth operating with a nice "feel" and they are nearly silent as well. I write science fiction novels in addition to operating the family cattle ranch, so I spend a lot of time using both keyboard and mouse. I'm very happy with my purchase and would gladly recommend them to my friends.

OK. It's only been 2 months and I've just raised my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I love this keyboard and this mouse - great touch, feedback, and feel. And it looks great too. Don't see how they do it for the money. If I wear it out in a year, I'll buy another one! I don't write many reviews. I hesitated to buy this keyboard/mouse combo because there are a relatively large percentage of 1 star reviews. I can't imagine why. It has everything you could ask for and it's under $35! The full-size keyboard has a firm touch which I like and it's compact and quiet. I love the mouse. It's full-size, silent, feels good in the hand, and it has 5 dpi settings. I like that keyboard and mouse have replaceable batteries - can't stand rechargeable batteries in devices with such low power usage - have to keep up with another charging cord and when the batteries will no longer take a charge, the devices are junk. I can't imagine what the naysayers have to complain about. The only reason I don't give this combo 5 stars is that I just received it yesterday. If it's working this well in 6 months, I'll come back and add the 5th star. Great product - couldn't be happier with it!

I am very happy with this. after ordering a similar one on another shopping platform, I was skeptical but gave it a shot. it doesn't feel cheap, the keys are good and they have a rough surface. It responds well and easy to hook up (read the manual). I had some issues when I connected it directly to the mac/in a USB hub *while* an external hard drive was connected. the mouse became extremely unresponsive and laggy. Disconnecting the external hard drive solved it for me. The mouse is comfortable but the side buttons are too easily pressed by hand movements. Don't get me wrong, I think it is a great product for a great price and if you are on a budget this is a good solution. It was well packaged and neatly organized. The manual is easy to understand. it doesn't come with batteries so you will need 3 AA of them ready to use. Pros: great price for a good product Cons: Some issues with an external hard drive, takes 3 AA batteries. I give it a 4, if I hadn't had issues with the external HD I would have given it a five.

I bought my first one of these keyboard and mouse sets a year ago and its been pretty good. The keyboard was still working great and the mouse was only starting to wear down on the scrolling wheel. However, last night I spilled a drink on the corner of the keyboard and the H and space bar stopped working. That's my fault, no big deal, so I order a new set on one day shipping because I really need it for work. The shipping time is great but when I open it up the item is definitely not new because the receiver is missing and there is a single battery in the mouse (the directions say batteries are not included). I was able to get the new keyboard and old mouse to pair with the old receiver (the directions only tell you how to pair the keyboard to the receiver, so I'm stuck with my janky scroll wheel on the old mouse until I figure that out), so its no big deal to me. I can at least get back to writing. Just thought I'd let people know! Its a good budget option but quality may vary!

Going on 2 years with this keyboard and use it every workday. Was easy to set up and barely uses batteries (I’ve changed them once in the 2 years I’ve owned it). One drawback is the delete key is right next to the backspace key and I often mix them up. Not the end of the world but can be annoying sometimes. Even with that one flaw, I’d 100% buy this again and would recommend to friends.

Started out ok, but in the 2.5 odd months since I've gotten this, it has not held up well. The key feel doesn't feel as smooth as it did when new, with some keystrokes not being recognized. The mouse is also starting to lag and get spotty reception, and resetting it/changing the battery does not help. It's also too easy to hit the end button when looking for the down arrow key. The compact design was a good idea, but the button placement could have been a lot better. I often lose my place in an article due to this. Perhaps placing the End button below the Home button would work better? That way, the "page down" button being accidentally pressed won't totally lose where you were. Could have been good, but the intermediate quality breakdown, laggy connection, and poor key placement makes this thing useless to me now.

Top quality for the price. The mouse is the underrated extra - fantastic ergonomic design.
