DTV3X4 DirecTV-Approved Min-Max 3-In/4-Out Multiswitch

I ordered this product as a replacement for the one that was initally installed by Direct TV. During a lightening storm a bolt was a near-miss (it hit a tree located about 20 feet from our satelite dish) however my Direct TV became screwy - I would receive some channels and not others. When I checked my satelite strength I saw that I was getting a signal on all of the "even" transponders were receiving a signal but not on the "odd" ones. Next I checked the multi-switch (it is located where the cables from the satelite split into your house) and I found it to be very warm/hot to the touch. I ordered and installed the "Eagle Aspen" multiswitch from Amazon and my problem was fixed. At the end of the day I saved myself a costly repair visit by Direct TV!

I use it on an "old" dual-LNB dish. It works as advertised. We can now watch one channel and record a different channel. It also allows for the addition of extra Directv receivers, on their own channels, without having to get a new dish with more LNB's. Easy to install. I find the compression RG6 connectors to be more reliable than crimp-tpye connectors.

Ordered this item trying to fix a problem with my directv. Found it was just the cord, so didn't use it after all. Sure it would have been fine.

My tv wouldn’t work properly and I needed this part . Amazon was was the cheapest and fastest way to get it

Did not do what I wanted to split 1 to many. Did not understand 2 power supplies 13 & 18, required. Information not available in information description.

I bought this to install my Directv in the suburbs house. It save me a lot of money from the company personnel, easy to install and works as I expected. Both DVRs work fine. No problems at all. I recommended totally

The product works as advertised, but maybe only because I am using three of the outputs for TVs in three different rooms. Otherwise, the missing load terminators (the packaging states that there should be three, but only one was in the box) may have caused me some trouble. This is what prevented me from giving it a perfect rating.
