This thing is actually pretty difficult to open at first, not goona lie. Its well crafted. However you can see a complete difference in the wood on all sides so it's pretty obvious what the objective is. However, it still isnt easy to achieve, which is pretty cool. I did put a little tea tree oil on the inside bits so it hopefully won't be Too hard on my nephew to open. You really gotta smack the heck out of your handBut its cool !! I kinda wanna paint it tbh.

Size was appropriate seems to be fairly easy to figure out

I wanted to love this, but we just couldn't get it opened no matter what we did. The "banging" piece was just what wouldn't work. Multiple people tried over a solid hour. Maybe we just got a defective one, I don't know. Returned it, either way.

I bought this as something fun to hold a gift of Christmas money. The puzzle box was smooth and good quality. Quite beautiful, especially for the price. It was stiff and a little difficult to open at first so I opened and closed it several times before I wrapped it. My grandson loved it. I would absolutely buy it again.
