I’ve been using them for a while now to start my seeds, and they never disappoint. They hold moisture perfectly without getting too soggy, which gives my seeds the ideal environment to germinate. I get a high success rate every time, and the roots seem to develop quickly and stay healthy. I also love how easy they are to use—just pop the seeds in, keep them moist, and they take care of the rest. They fit nicely into my hydroponic setup, but I’ve also used them for soil starts, and they work just as well in both cases. Plus, they don’t crumble or fall apart like some other plugs I’ve tried, which makes transplanting a breeze. These have become a staple for my growing routine, and I always trust them to get my plants off to a strong start. If you’re looking for a reliable way to start your seeds or cuttings, these are definitely the way to go. Review: Good result - They work well. I have repurchased every year for 3 years. Good for Kratky, ebb/flow and circulation hydro systems as well as for transplants outside. I use these when I need quick germination and growth in hydro then transplant outside to replace a regular plant that has failed to thrive. They have replaced my use of jiffy starter pellets with better results and less disease issues.

Convenient to use peat moss cups for one seed.
Easy to place one seed in the pre-formed hole. The peat moss plugs wick water very easily. I got very good germination. They are a bit pricey however.

Great Grow medium, but not exactly perfect.
So far it's no better than the rock wool all around and a bit more pricier. My kale did not seed well in these rapid rooters, or my Mizuna lettuce but all my other lettuce groups are doing just fine. You also have to bury the seedling in really low and deep with grow lights ready from day 2-3 for new growth in order not to have leggy seedlings going into your aeroponic tower with these rapid rooters. I personslly recommend 1.75 inch rock wool to 2 inch net cups. These rooters might roll around a bit more because of its smaller size, so it's best you have some clay stones to fill in the empty space within your net cup to support the seedling. I will admit, Seedlings do germinate faster in the rooters than in rock wool by about a day or so, but I will still go back and forth depending on the type of vegetation im growing. Great for tiny tim tomato's and most herbs etc. My suggestion is try these at least once when determining your type of grow method. Its best to always try and discover when doing anything kratky, hydroponic, or aeroponics. All in all they are good enough for me to continue to use them. Just make sure you store what you don't use in the original damp package it comes in as well as a dark place otherwise they will dry out on you.

Question about moisture content on arrival
There’s condensation inside the bag and plugs are moist. There’s no mold odor or anything like that present. Are they supposed to be damp when we get these? I left them in a lit room instead of putting them in my cabinet because of it. Let me know.. I bought 2 bags.

Two pack not so good
I buy these all the time in the single 50 packs but this 2 50 pack combo I bought seemed dryer, old and crumbly. I might have ended up with 70 usable ones out of 100. I won't buy this combo pack again, only the single packs.
