Over the years I purchased protection from Asurion about a half dozen times, and I just filed each one away in case it was needed. But when a mattress I bought close to 2 years ago went sour, I finally had to call on the Asurion protection. I was nervous - what proof would they ask for? What if I didn't answer the questions properly? What if the claim got denied?Surprisingly the process was very simple and only took a few minutes. I answered a few online questions and received my refund in the form of an Amazon gift card almost immediately.The very good experience has given me confidence not only to use Asurion protection again, but also to look for products that have Asurion protection and choose them over ones that don't. One could say that has narrowed my range of product choices - and it has - but at the same time I can make purchases of some quality products and not have to worry about losing my money if the product fails in some way. So this is a good thing overall.

No assembly required. Very easy to operate. Arrived quickly. The only thing is you must point the remote directly at the device at close rang.e Instructions don't tell you that.

It was my first time to utilize this asurion protection plan. Process was easy and fast. Got refunded the amount of the kid's bike we purchased. I heard that the first time you use it is an easy step/process, we'll see on the next claims i will make.

At first I would have given this 5 stars, after seeing all the positive reviews for Asurion... which is why I started purchasing their plans.However, after just a month since my purchase the "magazine" will no longer hold any gas. After putting the gas into the magazine today, I can physically feel the gas escaping near the bottom and to the side of the magazine. I thought maybe a seal, but the leak is coming from just above the bottom plate of the magazine. With this failure, the item no longer operates.I have an Asurion plan for it, but running into dead ends. Logged on Asurion, and saw all my many plans "still available". Clicked to file claim on this item, filled out all the forms and hit submit... but all it says is "this item is covered, please contact Asurion for claim".Seriously, that's what I just did. Backed out, logged in, but no active claims. Tried this multiple times with same result. Then I tried their 24/7 phone support, but voice automation tells me nobody is there.Then I went back to Asurions site and weirdly enough, the 25 or so protection plans that were initially listed for my purchases have disappeared, with only ONE plan still listed.... Just not the plan I'm trying to claim. Manually inputed my order number with Asurion and tells me "No order could be found".Getting a little frustrated!!!I'm really hoping "Asurion" will reach out and rectify this issue with me!
