Wow
This will only work if you have obstructive Sleep apnea. And It is your tongue that is the problem. I am only 4 days in and the 1st night was painful. Only because I was pushing my tongue right in And the sanction was very strong. It felt like my tongue was being ripped out it felt big and swollen. But over these 4 days I have learned that You don't need to stick your tongue right in there. It only needs to hold on to your tongue At a comfortable position. To stop it from falling back into your throat when your muscles start relaxing. It does take A lot of getting used to. I'm still Waking up with it In my hand A few times through the night I just pop it back on. hopefully that will improve. On my sleep app there is there is no more snoring I am breathing a little loud But hopefully hubby can sleep through that. Yippee i found something that Really works After all these years and trying All different devices. I know it's only day 4 and i hope it stays working and I can get use to it

Painful experience -disappointed
I was hoping for a good nights sleep based on the claims this product promised ,being a heavy snorer , but that’s not what happened unfortunately . I followed the instructions to a tee , but once I applied the suction bulb to my tongue it took on a vice like grip that such was the pain I found myself lying wide eyed and grimacing for much of the entire episode , I did persist however and managed to doze off out of sheer exhaustion but woke with a welt around the tongue and a numb tip due to the pressure of the suction . Finally my snoring app on my phone recorded the worse readings for loudness during it’s use so .....no it sadly didn’t do what it said on the box for me

Try this before you buy a proper one.
Theres a reason this is cheap and the two named brands, including Good Morning Snore Solution, are not. TLDNR: 1. Try this before buying a proper one from Good Morning Snore Solution. 2. Practice the suction to figure the best fit. 3. Dont be surprised if you have teeth discomfort or a chapped/irritated bottom lip and chin. Full review. If you are unsure as to whether tongue stabilization will work to reduce your snoring then get this and test it out. Then, pay proper money and get the Good Night Snore Solution for £80. I have potentially divorce inducing snoring and have tried various methods over the years, including a £200 custom mandibular mouth piece. They cause immense pain as I have TMJ disorder. This works to stop my snoring but its more than a little uncomfortable after a week of use. It can be improved with practice and adjusting the amount of suction, but it caused my lip and chin to become chapped and irritated due to moisture and the outside wings rubbing on my chin. It also made my bottom teeth sore. I cut off the bottom wing to keep it off my chin but its not fixed the problem. A bit bulky and irritating to get just right.

Effective at reducing snoring
I found it to be effective in reducing anti snoring . It was easy to use easy to clean . The only issue I had during the night it did come out of the mouth and I find it next to the pillow , but in spite of that I would still rather have it and use it as it helps overall .

Painful
I'm not sure whether I have a big tongue or not, but I found this device incredibly painful. I woke up in the middle of the night with a numb tongue.

It helps reduce the volume of snoring considerably
I am a heavy snorer and my wife is a very light sleeper, I always manage to wake her up even when she is wearing ear plugs, this reduces the volume of my snoring to a tolerable heavy breathing, I was a bit afraid to try this out as a lot of reviews say the suction is painful, but i didn't find that is the case for me at all, I do wake up perfectly fine after a full night sleep, I believe this is a much more comfortable experience than a mouth guard that rest on your teeth and changes your bite, but that will depend on each person. Only downside is that my throat tends to get dry as is dificult to swallow saliva while your tongue is sticking out, but its a small price to pay to be able to sleep comfortably with my wife

Could this be the answer
Have tried everything in my quest to stop snoring apart from surgery and cpap I was hoping this was the answer. In theory how could it not work, pulling the tongue forward to stop the vibration at the back of throat. In practice very much different and so uncomfortable, absolutely no way the pain from 1 hour wearing is going to be repeated in this household especially as I used an app to record my snoring during the period worn and it hadn’t even worked. So to conclude woke up after 1 hour, tongue painful so had to remove it, checked the app hoping that even in the short time period the snoring would have stopped or even reduced but it hadn’t. Would have persevered with the pain if it had. In my experience pain no gain. Avoid! On the plus side it doesn’t half grip the tongue!

Anti snoring device
It took a week to get used to it but was worth it. The trick is not to make it too tight. I suffer from obstructive sleep apnea and would wake up so many times not able to breathe. This device stops the tongue from falling back and aids sleep, especially if you’re a back sleeper. The added bonus is a reduction in snoring! A brilliant device much less hassle than a machine.

I recently gave this small device a try, and I must say it exceeded my expectations! As someone who has struggled with snoring and restless nights due to sleep apnea, I’ve tried various remedies in the past—nasal strips, throat spray, nasal spray, and mouth tapes—but none provided lasting relief. Then I read about the tongue retainer and decided to give it a try. Here’s why I believe it’s a game-changer: Effective Results: The tongue retainer significantly reduced my snoring. Clinical studies have shown that tongue retaining devices (TRDs) can improve snoring and obstructive sleep apnea without the need for a CPAP machine ( YAY) Comfortable Design: Made of medical-grade silicone, the device is comfortable to wear. Initially, I felt some discomfort in my tongue during the first few nights, but with time, I adjusted the suction to find the right balance. Now, it stays in my mouth throughout the night without causing much inconvenience. No Jaw Discomfort: Unlike traditional mandibular advancement devices (MADs), which can cause jaw discomfort, TRDs don’t require any special molding or fitting process2. They focus solely on keeping the tongue in place to prevent snoring. In summary, if you’re tired of restless nights and want an effective, non-invasive solution for snoring and sleep apnea, give the tongue retainer a try. It’s been a worthwhile investment for me, and I highly recommend it!
