Taylors Eye Witness Sabatier Professional Oriental Santoku Knife - 7in/17.5cm Forged, High Chrome Taper Ground, Stainless Steel Full Tang Blade. Twin Rivet Pakka Wood Handle. Sharper for Longer : desertcart.co.uk: Home & Kitchen Review: A razor sharp knife that will last for years - I bought this knife almost two years ago now and it is so good i am seriously thinking about buying my family this knife for the festive season. It is only now going a little blunt however that is because I use it so much. Brilliant and sturdy knife. Oh and for those who donโt read the instructions, hand wash only otherwise it will rust!! I just wipe mine down with a damp cloth, wipe it once through the tea towel and store it in a wooden knife block. I would not recommend storing this knife in a drawer with other knives, it will get too damaged and quickly lose itโs sharpness. Review: Good product - Good product, strong material

Great Santoku knife
This knife seems to be great quality (time will tell). When new, at least, it's incredibly sharp and has a good weight and balance to it that makes it easy to control for fine chopping. I paid slightly more for the version with a wooden handle, and it looks really good so I'm happy with the outcome of that decision! Very pleased with it.

The handle rivets are not flush.
Not taken out of the packaging yet, but you can hold the handle, and unfortunately to say one side the rivets are not flush so will start to rub the palm of the hand. So for the Professional range, on that alone not impressed.

Sheer quantity
This is a beautiful knife. I had Sabatier knives at catering college in the early eighties as they were classed as professional. I found love for cooking again after all these years and wanted some great knives and I am not disappointed. It is sharp, well weighed and balanced and a joy to use.

Top quality knife.
I love the weight of this knife. It makes short work of chopping stir fry veg and dicing meat. Well worth the cost.

So good I bought another one
Good weight, I always sharpen before I use it and I can see it lasting a long time.

Excellent value for money
Extremely well built knife for the price. Fantastically sharp, holds an edge wonderfully and doesn't fatigue the wrist or hand over long periods of dicing/chopping. Sure to become my workhorse knife
