Good quality, sturdy bowls

Able to hold hot liquids without issue
I was a little worried that hot liquid would just soak through, especially as I eat slowly, lol. But it actually holds it just fine. No soaking through at all. There can be a slight carboard taste, if you leave it long enough, but most people won't have to worry about that with normal eating pace.
