HYPERFIDO Pro MINI U2F/FIDO2/HOTP Security Key

This is a well priced FIDO2 key, usable in all FIDO2, WebAuthn, U2F type scenarios. It adds security and speed to account logins where services support these standards (too many don't yet - come on Amazon). This includes passwordless login where supported. Like many such keys it is not usable for Windows Hello login. Hypersecu could provide more information on their website to support new purchasers. I bought two of these keys. Please make sure you have a backup means of login. And don't expect it to have any storage (as some seem to expect). It is not a storage device, as clearly stated.

Worked for microsoft and google mail accounts fine, speeds up security login. Brought one for myself and brother. I have used these before and are excellent to secure emails with a push of a button, over typing in several passwords or counting letters.

At the time of writing, this appears to be the cheapest device of its kind available. The following functions are supported: * FIDO U2F * FIDO2 (The above make it functional with the WebAuthn standard) * HOTP (inputs via keyboard emulation when button pressed, appears to support a single profile for which the serial number and seed can be input via a very basic windows utility) The device is small and functional. It doesn't seem as solidly made as the competition, but then given it's something like 1/3rd the price you can and should have a backup key. One could potentially use a more expensive and solid key every day and register one of these cheap little things as a backup to leave somewhere secure. Overall it's good for the price. If you want try out physical security tokens, see how they workm, if they're right for you, etc before investing a lot of money then there isn't really any reason to wait - get one, try it, if you like it then use it as your backup device.

After 6 months of use I feel time to review. I bought this as a third backup for my yubikeys, and it has quickly become my main key. I use it log into numerous Google/Microsoft and other FIDO enabled logins on both Linux and Windows, the preferred method on my notebooks being pin + key. Some knowledge needed to set it up, it isn't 'plug and play', a little research should be enough to get most up and running. I like that its small enough to keep connected at home and easy to carry when I'm out and about.

The device is recognised by Windows 10, during setup you see the LED flash. Pressing the button when told to stops it flashing. And then...... ... nothing. Completely ignored. It just sits there. No amount of locking will get the laptop to use the key rather than windows password. Remove this key and no different. It may as well not exist. Cheap it is. Useful it isn't, so it's going back.

I got this much cheaper device to use as a back up for my Yubikey. Very easy to set up and get working and at a great price.

Funktioniert mit Windows, Linux, SSH einwandfrei. Geeignet für Google und co. Sehr günstig, dennoch recht robust. Für höchste Sicherheitsansprüche nicht geeignet (da kein tamper proofing), aber für experimente und für daheim, perfekt. Ich bestelle gerade die zweite Runde.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this 2FA key because it was so small that I initially thought the shipping bag was empty! However, don't let its size fool you, as this little key performs exceptionally well. One thing that really impressed me is the little push button on this 2FA key. Compared to Yubico's touch-sensitive pad, it provides a much more precise and responsive experience. With my Yubico, authentication has always been a struggle, but this tiny key makes it effortless and flawless. If you're looking for a reliable and precise 2FA key, I highly recommend this one. Despite its small size, it excels in performance and has made my authentication process a breeze.

I had an important account compromised, so I decided to increase my security measures by getting one of these. It was much more affordable than a yubikey, and while this key lacks the ability to connect to my smartphone, I do most of my online activities via PC, so this suits most of my needs. Super quick and easy to setup - simply press the button when prompted and you're in! And I haven't experienced any security issues since using it. If you're on a tight budget, or don't need the added lightning/phone connectivity, this will cover your needs. Be safe!

fonctionne parfaitement sur Linux (ubuntu). Permet d'activer l'authentification 2FA (FIDO/U2F) sur de très nombreux sites : google, facebook, gitlab, Bitwarden ... Il est nécessaire d'ajouter une regle UDEV sur Linux qui va principalement changer les droits d'accès en lecture pour tous et ajouter le TAG uaccess. Funziona perfettamente anche su linux non ha impronta digitale ma comunque ottimo prodotto per il prezzo pagato è il top anche se purtroppo non ha un app dedicata per linux o si usa chrome o il terminale per configurarlo
