Clove, Gum Vintage Tin, 10 Count

A few things -- clove is very subtle so don't expect a huge flavor. It doesn't last super long, but that's how most sugar gums are (big league chew anyone? juicy fruit?) That's the other problem, though -- probably not great for your teeth. It's also unclear whether there is any clove in it (per the ingredients list), but it does leave your mouth with a slight numbness, which IS what clove is supposed to do (it's still used in dentistry for this and antimicrobial properties). I still like it a lot -- something different for sure.

This product reminds me of my childhood so I overlooked the fact that its flavor didn't last long at all. But then again its clove so maybe it wasn't intended to. I enjoyed it . I won't buy again for awhile because there's better fun out there but if you're looking for nostalgia it's there !

I've bought this product before. The first batch was really great. Strong flavor. But the second batch was old with a weak flavor. I bought it as a gift so this was very disappointing to learn. The gum just crumbles.

I’m not a gum person but seeking an alternative to vape. This clove seems to take a bit of the edge off. It does seem crumbly but that goes away quickly. 👍🏻

Yummy, fresh gum in a cute embossed tin. Chews well, flavor lasts a long time, and holds texture too. Classic gum that you can chew for an hour if you wanted to.

If you're an old school Clove gum junkie such as myself, you wont be entirely disappointed but just enough to still mourn the loss of an old friend. The packaging is nearly spot on, all the way down to the dusty white wax paper keeping the gum fresh. The outer pack wrapper is of perceptibly lower quality, and the tear open strip is not reinforced, so don't go at it with absolute zeal as you'll find yourself trying to open the pack the rest of the way without destroying it. The tin is a nice addition as well. The gum itself it not a particularly great analog though. The flavor is at times indistinguishably clove that starts with a remarkably ambiguous mint & smoke flavor that quickly fades into an almost but not quite clove flavor. If you dig the numb tongue of the original, you won't be disappointed, it still delivers on that promise. All-in-all, would I buy it again? Probably, if only in the hope that I got a bad batch and that the next pack will deliver on my clove fix. Odds of it being a disappointment again, high. All that is left is to hope that the newly resurrected purple Neccos don't arrive an empty shell of their former selves too!

I love this gum. It tastes so good. It also brings back precious memories. My Dad used to purchase this brand. He would always share with me. He went to Heaven in 1988. However, every time I have a stick of Clove gum, I can almost feel him near.
