AMT Saturn V Rocket 1:200 Scale Model Kit

I purchased this following a visit to see an actual rocket at the Johnson Space Center, and I was very pleaded with the quality and realism!

We live in Huntsville, Alabama. Our nephew visited the US Space & Rocket Center with us. We had a blast. Then we sent him this Rocket shortly afterward for his birthday. It was a big hit. Very nicely made, good quality.

This one will receive a 1/200 Skylab conversion from Real Space to make it a little different from the other models out there. The regular model is of Apollo 4/6 not the more desirable Moon ships, even though they include the LM. My model will feature the Skylab shroud from Real Space for $29.00 delivered. It is resin cast and highly accurate. Pictures to follow.

Model was easy to assemble, detailed and accurate Saturn V model! Made it into a lamp...!

1/200 scale model of the Saturn V rocket that took men to the moon and back. Configuration is accurate for the facilities checkout vehicle AS-500F and the unmanned Apollo 4 and 6 (AS-501 and 502). A very skilled modeler will need to do some serious 'rocket surgery' to 'accurize' the kit to match the flown vehicles (AS-503 through 513). If you're not too worried about scale accuracy it builds up nicely, The limited edition 1/200 almost ready to fly model by Estes is much more accurate. (Get 'em before they are sold out!)

Exactly what ai wanted and expected. The 1/200 scale was very important to me.
