Works, but shouldn’t be needed.
This product does work, but takes up space in your freezer. It would seem that there would have been a way to use ice, but the product design dictates that you use this to cool down the pitcher.

Sure beats messing with ice
For years I struggled getting ice cubes into my polar pitcher. This solves the problem beautifully. The 3 pack allows me to change it every time I refill the pitcher. I highly recommend this for any polar pitcher owner.

Does what it promises, if it fits.
Doesn't always fit 100% (I think it expands quite a bit when frozen, so at first I had to almost hammer one of them in, the other ones fit perfectly, maybe due to said hammering =P). Does what it promises tho, kept my bedside water quite cool for the entire night.
