UPDATE: We just ordered our third bottle of this stuff. My family with multiple food sensitivities has never had an issue with this powder so I'm super happy about that. We use this most days thrown into smoothies, when someone is sick in our home we double the amount and sometimes triple it. My children (2, 5, 6) barely ever get sick. Sometimes the six yr old will bring something home from school, but it's never that bad and the two younger kids rarely catch what he has. Ever since we started using this brand of vitamin c, the illnesses really haven't been that bad at all. My neighbors/friends/people we always hang out with all got their flu shots and then immediately got sick. We call this vitamin c our "flu shot" and no one in my family has gotten the flu. And again, when the colds/viruses are going around, we feel pretty confident that this vitamin c is helping us get over the sickness quicker or just helping us avoid it all together. ****** This has been a great source of vitamin c for my family. We tried another brand which I feel was making us sicker, but this one seems to be more pure. The taste is amazing if you like super sour foods! I add it to my ACV drinks, smoothies, popsicles, and homemade gummies for an extra kick. Since using this product I've noticed my family hasn't been sick once in months. I have a couple floor lickers so we used to get sick often; it seemed like every month someone got a cold. For my family, we prefer the ascorbic acid as it's just plain vitamin c. This is one of the only brands I trust that are actually non GMO. We were thinking about maybe trying the sodium ascorbate but seeing as how my family hasn't reacted poorly to the pure ascorbic, I'm content to stick with this. We include a lot of Redmond Real Salt (Rock Salt) in our diet and I think that has helped with absorbency. It's cheaper to buy the high quality salt separately than the sodium ascorbate powder anyhow. Ideally I'd like to get our vitamin c straight from food sources, but that's too expensive for my family at this time.

I just started it but it tastes great. I add one serving to a bottle of water and it taste like I added a squirt of lemon. It's not strong so it is overpowered by anything else added. It's a pure white and even powder that desolves really easy.

High dose vitamin c has changed my life!!! (I'm 45). Recently I suffered with an allergy for 7 months straight. Nose either itching, running, extremely dry or I was sneezing uncontrollably (30 sneezes at a time). My nasal system was in complete disarray 24 hours a day. It was horrible. During this time we lived in three different houses with completely different environments so it was not my surroundings. I have had minor allergies my entire life but nothing no where near this. I tried every natural remedy known to man, including strict water fasting and acupressure, essential oils etc. I can usually beat any sickness without going the conventional medicine route, but I gave in and went to specialists, took antibiotics, decongestants, antihistamines (all of which I have not taken in over 10 years)...nothing worked. During this 7 month period I caught every cold around, literally got sick more in 7 months then the last 10 years. All symptoms in my nose only, no sinus pressure, nothing else. It was insane and had me questioning my immune system. I used on average a roll of toilet paper a day dealing with congestion. I had heard of mega dose Vitamin C and decided to give it a try. I took up to 40 grams a day of this Vitamin C mixed with another brand of sodium ascorbate, enough to give me diarrhea. The first two days I noticed little change but on the third and fourth day I began to blow mucus out of my nose that was absolutely disgusting, nothing like I had ever seen. On the fourth night I slept with my nose completely clear and have not been congested since, over a month now. I continue to take 10 to 15 grams a day and my health has been better. I can not recommend high dose vitamin c therapy enough, it is a health game changer. Don't be scared to take mega doses, it is the only way to get therapeutic benefits.
