Was not sure at first if this would actually help but I cannot express enough how much it works!! I stand a lot during the day at work and started to get the round ligament pain during my pregnancy and bought this and I can tell as soon as I put it on it provides so much support and my pain goes away!

I bought this mostly for two reasons: 1) I was experiencing broad ligament pain and was told by my midwife that a pregnancy belt would probably alleviate some of that and 2) my little one was laying transverse and I had read that if you suspect your ligaments may be loose (this is my second pregnancy) a pregnancy belt may help provide the support and slope for baby to turn into a head down position. I am also experiencing some back pain, but that wasn't why I bought this. I have to say I am very happy with this belt for the two reasons I bought it. I really feel it supports me well and has helped a lot with the ligament pain and also helped me to relax my stomach which I realized I was constantly pulling in unconsciously. After two days of wearing this belt, I went to the midwife and the baby was head down (I don't think that the belt alone accomplished that, as I was doing different exercises, but I really feel it helped). If you are looking to relieve back pain with this belt, I can't say I've felt an improvement in that area. Other things: It is pretty discreet under clothing, very adjustable, and easy to get on and off. I feel like it is made of good materials. I didn't give it 5 stars because I find it a bit uncomfortable on bare skin so I usually wear it over a tank top or high maternity pants. I also find that it isn't the most comfortable for sitting (ie: in the car) and it will ride up a bit while sitting. However, because it is so easy to adjust it is pretty easy to get back in place once you're standing again. All in all, I think it is a worthwhile investment especially if you are feeling like you need some relief and support in the belly area. You may want to check out other reviews if you are looking for information on whether this would be a good option for back pain.

My pregnancy related back pain and pelvic pain is soo gone. I am finally able to get up and go about my day like it’s nothing. No extreme waddling and having to sit down every minute when walking. The best thing is, it’s very affordable.

It was good at first but now at 20 weeks it feels like it’s compressing the baby and it’s starting to hurt my belly. Adjusting, making it looser, more tight, or trying to change the position of it isn’t helping anymore and I’m most likely going to have to get a new one. Also not a huge fan of having to fasten it in the back, if my husband isn’t around it’s hard to adjust it to the right fit by myself. For the first half of my pregnancy it did help relieve my back pain and made my 12hr shifts bearable. It does leave groove marks and gets itchy after hours of wearing like others have mentioned.

My back hurt so bad because my baby was so big.. and I am not! Wearing this band helped so much!

For the most part, it works. I bought the AZMED Maternity Belt mainly because every time I jogged or even walked sometimes, I would get pain on the top of my vagina (pretty much the mons pubis region). The first time I tried jogging with it, I still felt some pain, but yesterday I wore it to my exercise class (squats, some weight lifting and jogging and walking) and I felt great! No pain around my lower abdominals (another troublesome area) or pain in my PGP. I also really like how smooth it is under clothing. That wasn't a make or break for me, but a definite plus. I'm the type that likes to wear as little clothing as possible (especially in 90+ degree heat!), so I am currently only wearing it when I'm exercising, but I will probably start wearing it more at night as well since that's when my body tends to get more tired and pained. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. I am 31 weeks and my pain started more around 20 weeks :( . This is my second baby and these pains began much earlier with this pregnancy than my first. I am 5'10 and weighed 143 pre pregnancy and am around 175 now and my belly circumference is 43in. There is definitely some of the band left over and I had to adjust it a couple times during my workout, which is a little bit of a pain, but overall worth it. Summary: Pros: supportive, fits well under clothing, easy to put on by myself, easily washable Cons: extra fabric needs to be adjusted sometimes, may not offer enough support depending on your needs

i personally recommend this for pregnant women, eases back pain and it is easy and comfortable to wear under or over clothes.
