It worked, but was flimsy and broke quickly. It should NEVER be put onto a key ring, even though they suggest to do that.This product broke (snapped in half) in just about two week's time. That was a huge waste of my money.Honestly, just buy Google's Titan Security Keys instead... Virtually unbreakable, and they have far better, and more versatile options available.I know I'm posting this almost a year after buying it, but I usually try to leave reviews on everything I buy and saw I didn't leave one for this.Even with that said, I feel I'm truly owed a refund for this and hope I see one credited, despite the time gap. It's not necessary, though would be appreciated, and the right thing to do.

The idea is neat, but the key has poor QA. I have had to return this key twice, once for it being bricked upon arrival, and once for the USB connection not sitting properly on the board. Unfortunately this seems to be the only NFC + USB C security key available right now, so no clear competitors for me to replace this with.

My original SoloKey v2 lasted for a little over a year before the USB-C connector broke off. Since I'm using DiceKeys, I just ordered a new one to reprogram using my secure seed. Turns out that even though this is where the SoloKeys website link takes you to order from Amazon, it is NOT the "hacker edition" required to change the seed on the device. Amazon accepted the return no problem, but it's irritating that I had to return the device and order again directly from SoloKeys.com. :(

Really was loving it, until a few months in, (with no unusual wear,) the USB-C connector broke off. Since this key was used for 2FA in a few places, I was stuck without an ability to identify myself when the key suddenly catastrophically failed.

It feels cheap, USBC works fine and I couldn't get it working on my iPhone in different apps.

I could not get it to work with my computer. I would return it for a refund if I could.

I bought mine direct from their website but after 4 months on a keychain and its broken. It basically just a PCB in a floppy silicone case. The build quality is garbage.

Ein FIDO2 Stick mit aktualisierbarer Firmware - das wollte ich haben!Was gabs: Eine leider halbgare Hardware-Idee.Denn Der USB-C Anschluss ist auf den Stick aufgelötet, ohne die Lötkontakte mechanisch zu sichern/zu verstärken.Ergebnis: nach 5 Tagen ein Wackelkontakt und damit unbrauchbarer Stick.Was gabs noch?Keine Möglichkeit zum Umtausch...... denn im Verkäuferprofil ist eine ungültige Adresse eingetragen - man kann den Stick zwar über Amazon zurücksenden, die volle Gewährleistung mit der Wahl einer Reparatur oder Ersatzlieferung nach BGB § 439 Abs. 1 ist somit jedoch nicht möglich :-(Alles in Allem: Idee Super, aber Hardwareumsetzung nicht praxistauglich - vielleicht gibts ja bald eine neue Hardware-Revision. Meine war die V2.1.

The hardware is just flimsy and poorly put together. Mine broke after my computer fell over. Get something else for your money.

Waste of money, Windows 10 Pro doesn't recognise or accept that it's there.Thrown in the bin, don't waste your money on this.

Auch ich muss sagen, dass der USB-C Stecker wohl nicht robust genug für dauerhaften Einsatz sein wird. Mein Stick wurde mit verbogenem USB-C Stecker geliefert und funktionierte von Anfang an nicht.Ich werde mir die USB-A Version bestellen.

Die Authentifizierung via NFC hat bei LIeferung (Nov 19) nur einen Lesefehler geliefert (Diverse Google und Nokia Telefone).Mit der aktuellen Firmware (3.1.1 - Feb 20) ist der Stick via NFC komplett stumm.Zusätzlich wackelt der USB-C Stecker mittlerweile auf der Platine.Wenn ich die Idee nicht so gut fände, dann hätte das Produkt eigentlich nur einen Stern verdient.
