Kobalt Tri-Blade Folding Utility Knife

It’s a little thicker than I was hoping for but with having multiple blades what can you expect. I was trying to find the one I had before that I lost because I loved it but I couldn’t so I settled for this one. The second blade stays sharp for a little while but you will have to periodically sharpen it. Overall it’s worth the money and I have no complaints.

This utility knife is an awesome piece to have. The tri-blade tool proves to be sturdy in all joint connections and functions. Very easy to remove/replace razor with the locking mechanism. The two things I found that I personally would like to see changed, but may not be an issue for others: First, there is no clip to attach for quick access in your pocket. This may not be a huge factor and can easily be bypassed by purchasing an attachment clip. Second, the thumb stud is attached to the serrated blade and requires access route via left hand. While the straight blade only provides a finger indention. I would prefer the function of access be switched between the two blades as there is room to put the thumb stud on the straight blade, which would allow access via right hand. Since I utilize the serrated blade less in personal use this would leave the less easy access route of finger indention through left side. See pictures for view. Again, this utility knife is a great and sturdy tool. If those two issues I mentioned were corrected it would have easily been 5 stars for me!

I've worked in shipping twenty years: I used to carry around a Stanley Fatmax boxcutter, until I met this beauty at Lowe's. This thing is so good, I have one for work, one for outside, and one for inside. While I don't use the standard knife a whole lot, the stanley blade and the serrated blade are basically all you need for a shipping dept. - you can cut plastic banding and solid cardboard with the serrated, and tape/plasticwrap/cardboard with the stanley knife.

I own two of these knifes. Well worth the money. However with this latest purchase the knife (0366371) was not shipped with the pouch and replacement blades as advertized. I am asking the seller to send the missing items, pouch and blades, or will ask for a replacement.

I like every thing, the only negative is that I loose them very frequently or desire by others. So it will be good to add a tacking divise.

On this order is missing some items and Í am very disapoiten í hope they can fix it.
