Soundtouch consistently malfunctioned over three years.
I bought a Bose Soundtouch 20 in July 2016 and have been very disappointed with it. Over the past three years, it has consistently malfunctioned. It does not recognise devices paired to it, I have had to repeatedly delete and reinstall the app to get it to work and then it only works for a short time. The sound, when it works, is ok but not of a quality that I would expect. I am now left with a speaker that will only work as an auxiliary speaker with a wired connection to my mobile!! This is the first review that I have ever written and it is because I have wasted so much time trying to get this speaker to work properly. I would not recommend anyone to purchase this

Lack of compatibility with other Bose products
So the biggest problem with the Bose SoundTouch is the app used to control it is not compatible with all Bose Bluetooth devices there are 3 different apps and 3 ranges of Bluetooth speakers they might as well be made by different companies for lack of compatibility sorry by a different make that is fully compatible but if you only intend to buy the SoundTouch range then it sounds amazing as is a quality Bose product

Super Box!

Not as good as it was in the past.
Good sound quqlity, but Bose stopped the streaming of radio stations. Suddenly far less interesting, because for me it was the main goal. I had to buy an external streamer and connect it by wire to have radiostations again.
