I’ve been drinking Ahmad Earl Grey tea every day for over three years, and it’s easily the best Earl Grey I’ve ever had. I’ve tried quite a few brands over the years, but I always come back to this one. The flavor is smooth, balanced, and consistently high quality. The bergamot has a wonderful citrus aroma without being overpowering, and the black tea itself is rich without becoming bitter when brewed properly. Whenever I serve it to guests, they almost always comment on how good it is, and several have ended up buying it themselves. Interesting fact: Earl Grey tea is traditionally flavored with oil from bergamot, a fragrant citrus fruit grown primarily in Italy. The distinctive floral and citrus aroma is what sets Earl Grey apart from other black teas. The quantity of earl grey tea leaves you get in this box is no joke. I think I won't need to buy any more for 5 months or somethin'. The aroma of the tea is sublime - whether you stick your schnoz in the bag straight away (like me) or if you wanna wait 'till it's brewed like a refined person. But the flavor was superb; better than anything I've bought in any grocery store, hands down. The strength and quality of the tea really came through to provide a warm bergamont flavor that spreads through the mouth. Pro tip: store the tea leaves in a large, air tight container to keep it fresh.

I was a little nervous buying this much loose tea without having had it before but I'm very pleasantly surprised. The bergamot flavor is not forward but definitely present. It tastes clean. I'm looking forward to enjoying this for the foreseeable future. I put it all in mason jars to keep it fresh.

I'm enjoying my first pot of Ahmad Tea -- Aromatic Earl Grey. The balance between bergamot and tea flavor leans very heavily towards Bergamot. Weak tea flavor, strong bergamot flavor. If that's "your cup of tea", this is definitely the tea for you! Myself, I find it a bit strong. I will blend unflavored black tea with this tea to tone it down a bit. The color and scent of the tea is lovely. The tea is very fresh. I ordered this in November 2023. Packing date as indicated on box is June 20, 2023 and best by date is June 20, 2026. I appreciate the full disclosure on the box. Pros: - Value for money. - If you love strong bergamot, this tea is for you! - Attractive box. It could be a gift. You'd still wrap it, but looks better than a grocery store tea box. - Packing date and best buy date printed on box. - Arrived very fresh. - Great scent, great color. Neutral: - I can feel the caffeine in this tea. My guess (this is only a guess, but I drink a pot of tea every day) is that it is well caffeinated. If you like your caffeine, this is the tea for you! - Distributed by Ahmad Tea of London and packed in Sri Lanka. Cons: - May be heavily flavored for your taste if you are accustomed to grocery store Earl Grey tea as I am. - A pound of tea is a lot of tea. You'll have to repackage it in airtight containers to keep it fresh. The package tells you to store it in an airtight container. - The envelope in the box folds closed but not as securely as, for example, a Lipton loose tea foil envelope. Repackaging is definitely advised.

I got turned on to this tea several years ago. When visiting relatives, I tasted it for the first time. Since I liked it so much, they gave me the package to take home. It soon became my morning wakeup drink. After drinking it exclusively for 2-3 years, I decided to try one of my previous brands. Since I did not finish my first cup, I gave the entire box away.

This Earl Grey is concentrated with the classic flavor of Earl Grey and very reasonably priced!
