The OBDeleven Pro Plan subscription (around €60 per year) strikes a good balance between price and functionality, particularly for individuals working on their own VAG vehicles. It provides a compact, easy-to-use solution with robust diagnostic depth, making it a solid choice for both hobbyists and some professional users who don’t require the full complexity of VCDS. In short, OBDeleven with the Pro Plan is an excellent, versatile tool for Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, and Škoda owners wanting advanced diagnostic and coding capabilities in a portable, app-based format — with a favourable price compared to traditional systems like VCDS. I do like how its not limited to a certain number of vins too!

Arrived on time and was easy to set up

Extremely expensive device. If you want to do anything useful with it you must buy a subscription. Want to remove the service light after a service, subscription. Want to use any adaptive function, subscription. Absolute piracy If you want to reset your VW Passat B8 without using this expensive junk make sure car is off, press and hold millage reset (0.0 button center of dash) turn ignition on (engine off) release button after it asks for service reset. Press button to confirm, for inspection same process but hold the button for longer till it displays reset service ?

For those who don't want to read loads this is a great tool for those who don't want to spend £££ on VCDS from Ross-Tech which is aimed at the high level / pro guys who do this for a living. This tool is aimed at the at home DIYers and car enthusiasts who plan on coding more than their own car! I have coded 4 cars now without issue! - I gave it 4 stars due to it not being able to read two modules on my car. (Photo attached). It is really a 5 star but due to this I have to give it 4. The inbuilt to called 'apps' are a gimmick imho they are one touch activations for people who don't know anything about coding. This tool is more than that and aimed at those who have the long coding to hand. I used 1 app on my friends Octavia to activate sign recognition. Worked fine and was quicker than doing the manual long coding found on the forums. I also used this to code 3 Fabias, activating multiple hidden features via the Long Coding feature of this device. All working perfectly fine, its also allowed me to retrofit certain things and activate them using the adaptations part of the app. There is so much you can do on this if you are willing to do the research into how to do things and not rely on the apps inbuilt. A lot of reviews stating apps don't work etc are those who just wanted a quick fix without actually learning about how to activate and diagnose why there are issues if they arise. For example, my Fabia has an App to turn on open windows with the key. 10 credits to activate. This is a feature for cars with all 4 electric windows with comfort opening which is rare, as 99% of these cars only have front electric windows... this app wouldn't do anything but change coding without any results and it also doesn't mention the requirements for it to work. That I understand is annoying and why people would give a bad review but its also on them for not looking to see if its ACTUALLY doable. Overall I am very happy with this device and has allowed me to code many features via Long Coding without issue, make backups of modules and retrofit items that required coding to finalise the install. For the money its great and when used CORRECTLTY its perfect. But for those just want to access the apps. Save your money and get a local garage with VCDS to do the coding for you for a small fee.

Bought this when I bought my 2010 Audi TT. The connection to the car was seamless and It has since helped me sort out a few niggles that were present with the climate control and passenger side mirror. There is quite a few sites dedicated to using the ObdEleven that give you more control over your car and since I've learnt about long coding I've also activated features on the car that we're previously either turned off or hidden. The app is clear and easy to use and the year subscription is more than enough to start with. If I could offer one piece of advice, don't bother with the credits and quick activation apps. You pay for each credit and your car may not have the feature you want but it won't tell you that until you've spent the credits. Instead there the time to learn the long coding (on all VAG cars, this may not work with BMW etc) as this is free and does the same thing. I've also tested the device on my partners 2013 BMW 3 series and again it works great but with limited functionality compared to a VAG car.

Works very well on my rs3 while theres not much for me to change its good when im doing a brake job it can unlock the rear electronic brake locks, change the key window raise behaviour, throttle sensitivity and do some customized coding, not sure about the subscription but this comes with pre-loaded credits in the app which is good. scanning the car for issues is free and does not take up any credits

First of all, the Amazon offer doesn’t state anywhere that after a year you’ll need to pay for a subscription. Or better just buy another pro dongle because the cost is the same. Also the advertised SFD unlock does not work for my trailer module. I tried contacting the support, but for I have to wait approximately 2 days for each response, and after a week the support person still doesn’t seem to understand the issue. I confirmed using ODIS (dealership tool) that the module is in fact locked, but he still claims that ODIS is wrong if there’s no unlock option in obdeleven app. Requests to escalate the issue are ignored as well. I bought this thing just for the SFD capability and will be returning it because it’s useless

Das Gerät ist relativ klein, sodass ich es dauerhaft an der OBD-Schnittstelle eingesteckt lassen kann. Dadurch kann ich jederzeit mit dem Handy oder Tablet einen Scan durchführen, Live-Daten ansehen oder Long Coding programmieren. Ein Beispiel: Die Öltemperaturanzeige auf dem Tacho eines Audi A6/S6 C7 ist standardmäßig nicht freigeschaltet. Für mich sind die Öltemperatur und die korrekte Kühlwassertemperatur jedoch sehr wichtig, um zu sehen, wann die echte Betriebstemperatur erreicht ist oder wie sich diese während der Fahrt verändert. Es ist kinderleicht, solche versteckten Funktionen – und davon gibt es Dutzende, wenn nicht Hunderte – freizuschalten. Es gibt unglaublich viele Werte, die man live auslesen kann. Allein das Durchscrollen der Liste dauert gut 10 Minuten. Von Lambdawerten, Fehlzündungen pro 1000 Umdrehungen, der Gesamtanzahl gespeicherter Fehlzündungen für jeden Zylinder bis hin zu Abgastemperaturen und hunderten weiteren Parametern – all diese Daten können bei der Fehlersuche oder der Beurteilung des Fahrzeugzustands extrem hilfreich sein. Ich empfehle unbedingt, mindestens den PRO-Plan zu kaufen. Mit diesem Gerät kann man insbesondere bei VAG-Fahrzeugen (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda) nahezu alles machen, was auch ein 500–1000 Euro teures Diagnosegerät leisten kann. Edit: Das wichtigste habe ich vergessen zu erwähnen, Fahrzeugdaten, Messdaten und Profildaten werden auf der Stelle mit dem Server synchronisiert, sodass wenn man anstelle mit dem Handy, einen Tablet nimmt und sich mit OBDEleven verbindet, bleiben alle Daten stets synchron. Deshalb braucht ein Scan mit der Bluetooth Verbindung zusätzlich eine Internetverbindung. In meinen Augen ist diese Eigenschaft eines der wichtigsten, weil es die Handhabung sehr praktisch macht.
