Works well
For the price? It’s perfect . It’s on the thicker side in comparison to name brand. Running Bosch, Milwaukee and Diablo, they all go dull in the same amount of time. Re file and sharpen edge and get after it. The plus side of this being thicker? It will last longer, constantly sharpening, down side, it’s not bent enough nor long enough. But then price? It’s perfect

Tough as nails at a price that doesn't break the bank

Effective, but a bit short
I bought this for my Harbor Freight (HF) rotary hammer. I wasn't sure when this chisel would arrive, so I started my project with a HF 10 inch, 1.5 inch tile chisel which did a good job getting the tile off my floor. I probably could have finished the job with that combo. When the Firecore chisel arrived I had roughly 25% of my project left, enough to give it a comparative shakedown. It was more or less comparable to the longer yet narrower HF chisel, but of the two I seemed to like the Firecore a bit more. I don't know if it was the wider blade or somewhat sharper edge, bit it seemed a bit easier to get under the tiles I was removing than it was with the HF chisel. Not a night-and-day difference, but notable. The one thing I don't like about the Firecore is it's a bit on the short side. As I press in on a tough spot in the mortar, the chisel breaks through, the hammer moves forward, and with the short chisel shank my fingers end up near or against the debris. Yeah, wear a good set of gloves and it's not a problem, but the longer HF chisel gives me time to ease up before finger surfing in the broken tile. Buuut.... that's the only nitpick. Overall I do like the Firecore - it's held up fine so far and seems to do a slightly better job than my HF bit.

Nice Product, a must for blowing out old tiles.
Using this for 14 inch square tiles demolition. Works great, nice steel. Small size that is ideal for midrange tile removal, 4-12 inches width/square. I advise on the size range if you, like me, likes to remove tiles in their full size versus chipping pieces parts and excessive cleanup. Quality product that is a must have with the angle feature. Makes quicker work for getting to the mortar bed and of course tile removal. lIGHTNING FAST DELIVERY............. was really happy about the quick delivery.

Maybe they should charge a little more and slow down the QA guy.
Mine arrived with imperfections on both corners. The bag it came in wasn't damaged so it was damaged before it was packaged. I'm assuming the damage must have occurred before it was hardened so I'm keeping it. Both corners of the business end are damaged, like from being dropped. Obviously if this damage occurred after it was hardened it is not going to last very long in use. This is definitely not the quality of the 4 other Bosch chisels I bought at the same time, but it is $10 less than the Bosch equivalent. If I bought this size for daily use, I'd probably spend the extra money to get the Bosch. As it is I bought this one for experimentation and backup purposes. For the price, I guess I can't complain that their QA guy is moving too fast.

Essential bit for chipping tile and thinset
Worked well for me, had to remove over 200 sq ft. of old terra cotta tile which was, in most places, WELDED to the concrete substrate. Literally disintegrated (slowly) back into clay and porcelain shards. Used in an Extreme Power US Rotary Hammer - which worked much better than the Bosch demolition hammer and 1" chisel bit I rented previously. I did not have to sharpen the blade during this project, although you could if you had a grinding wheel. Highly recommend this if you need an SDS Plus (make sure you get the size/shank configuration right) bit to remove tile and thinset.

Used this to lift ceramic tiles from plywood. It worked great although the plywood took a bit of a beating. (Not tools fault it was the strong clue). The angle of the blade and shaft helped keep the hammer drill off the floor and slide under the tiles.
