Maglite Replacement Lamps for 2-Cell AA Mini Flashlight, 2-Pack

It's a bulb. It works. Hopefully for a while. Halogen bright. Not this LED crap. The Maglight Solitaire is a great keychain light and has come in handy on many occasion over the years.

Works as expected. The mini mag light is definitely retro, but it was a gift and I use it as a back up to my usb rechargeable flashlights. Easy to install, and a second bulb stores in the base under the spring.

We have micro Maglite flashlights on the key rings of our various rides and have needed replacement bulbs for a while... all I could find were bigger ones for two or more AA or AAA, so glad to finally find replacement bulbs that fit and work with single AAA Maglites. These are bright, clear without flickering, don't heat up and don't drain the battery quickly. I have already ordered another set, for our other micro lites, just in case :-)

these are pin type replacement bulbs the bulb worked fine but i have learned my lesson i will not buy another flashlight that requires the pin type bulb they are difficult to install correctly and must be perfectly adjusted to get maximum brightness which means taking the cover off multiple times to adjust and readjust the angle of the bulb plus when i dropped the flashlight it was game over bulbs are too expensive to replace

I have been a fan of Maglite flashlights for years. They are rugged and reliable, but sometimes they get lost or fall overboard or hidden in the back of a drawer. And sometimes the bulb just wears out. When my Maglite Mini 2 AA-cell went dark, I changed the batteries – nope. I fiddled with all the contacts – nope. The only thing left was the bulb - a tiny little critter. I could not find one at my local hardware store so I took a chance on the Maglite-recommended replacement bulb. And – voila – light. But flashlights don’t always need to be as bright as the landing lights on an airplane. LED flashlights burn bright until they don’t. Then…poof…darkness. This Xenon bulb is pretty bright, but, as the batteries age, but light just gets dimmer and dimmer until you finally say, “I need more light.” I have other really bright LED flashlights, but mostly around my house in the dark of night when I need to let the cat in or out or in or out, I just need a little light so I don’t run into toe-stubbers. The soft light from the analog light bulb and aging batteries is perfect. And a great way to squeeze extra life from all those not-quite-dead remote-control gadgets.
