Do not buy without a hydraulic hand crimped as the end are too thick to crimp without. They should say that the hydraulic hand crumper is required to avoid purchase of a hand crimped and having to return and purchase of a hydraulic crimper. It is a waste of effort for the purchaser and lost revenue for the importer and Amazon. The fittings otherwise work well and sport to be of marine grade stainless steel.

The entire assembly is best used in 4 x 4 installations to keep the swaged ends of the stud and stemball hidden. For swaging both ends, I recommend using a hydraulic swager. I purchased the Senmit swager. When installing in wood, the washer provided for the stemball is not large enough and therefore is not effective for tightening the cable. I replaced them with SS fender washers.

I can’t say it is any better or any worse than that bought from other vendors. It might all come from the same mill in China

Work as described, fine craftsmanship, no mangled or unusable pieces. Work as intended and easy to use with the right crimping tools. Will purchase again and recommend to others.
