Great speaker cables, well worth the purchase. I have been running these cables for around 1 year - Oddly enough this was the last upgrade I did to my setup and I know what everyone says "golden ears" but they actually did make a good improvement to the overall sound quality. ... perhaps I should of bought these first!? ;-)

I did honestly think they would not live up to expectations,......however I have a mid range linn /Naim system which in all fairness sounded pretty good before the cables arrived . I fitted them and had a listen and omg ! There is so much more going on the bass has tightened up but with my old ears the main thing I was looking for was more info in the mid top which I have got, the depth of the sound stage has doubled ! wish I had got 3.5m as the right speaker lead has no spare . I am running a vintage pair of naim SBL’s. I say .. great value and it does not break the bank .

These cables were bought to replace some 20 year old cables and banana plugs and they have made a difference in the sound quality. Whether I could have got the same effect by cleaning the ends of the old cable and the banana plugs I don't know. However they fit well and look good too.

Packaging was a bit dented, but cables are in new tip top condition. Product is working as intended and happy with it . highly recommended!

It's hard to believe. But it works. Had nice new inexpensive cables for my Marantz with Monitor Audio floorstanders. Tremendous sound but somewhat harsh and overexcited trebles. QED put everything in place. Light years. Small difference that makes it all.

Utilizzati in una configurazione biwiring, dedicati alle basse frequenze, dopo un rodaggio di circa 30 ore hanno offerto una buona performance. Sono inoltre ben fatti i connettori.

Very happy with theses cables. They are connecting Falcon ls35a monitor speakers to a Rega Brio integrated amp. The terminations are well constructed and the plugs fit snugly into the equipment. This is the most I'd spend on cables for my modest system, but I'm happy with the results. I have the speaker cables running through custom built in cabinetry and can say that they can bend, turn and snake their way through such an installation. One point worth noting is that the terminations/banana plugs are pretty rigid and require some room to come in directly into the rear into the equipment. I was careful to line up my speakers and the point of access from the wall/cabinet so they could come in straight. If your installation has little room behind the speaker you might want to research cables with a little more flexibility.

Je finis un safari de câbles hp pour finalement revenir à ces Qed XT40i… Apres 5 ans de bons et loyaux services de mes Qed XT40, je suis parti à la recherche de câbles m’apportant plus de précisions aux niveaux des mediums et des aigus, sans clarté absolue ni sensation brillante ou agressive. Depuis plusieurs mois, je teste donc plusieurs câbles sur mon système: VIARD audio HD12 (plutôt bien, aéré mais manque d’impact et d’ampleur) VIARD audio HD20 (bizarrement compliqué, haut médium et aigus scalpant fatiguant au bout de 20min), Esprit audio Celesta G9 (excellent, sonnent juste, semble équilibré à souhait, mais à la longue trop irréaliste pour moi. Tellement spatial que certains titres subissent comme des « loopings sonores ».. assez particulier à l’écoute stéréo. Parfait pour les films par contre, mais en écoute stéréo, de simples titres paraissent surfaits avec trop de détails, venant souvent gâché le chanteur, qui se trouve doublé intempestivement par une cymbale par exemple.. comme si l’effet film continuait mais pour une écoute musicale stéréo, donc non pour moi, rien de naturel au final). Ma course se finit donc sur les Qed XT40i qui finalement m’apporte en quelques minutes puis quelques heures « hyper satisfaction » : équilibré, médium et aigus parfaitement respectueux, profondeur et amplitude « sensationnelles » (encore plus développées depuis plusieurs semaines), des basses franches restant douces, punch et impact garanti! L’essentiel des émotions apporté par la musique est offert avec ces Qed XT40i tout simplement, pour un prix hyper accessible finalement. Conclusion: nul besoin de dépenser plus inutilement, à moins de 200€ mon bonheur est enfin trouvé, comme quoi… pour le reste (sciences inexactes, théorie de puristes qui n’en finissent jamais..) est une perte de temps et d’argent, dans toutes ces séries dites «premium» plus empruntes de marketing que de réels fondements bien souvent dénués de sens (la preuve sur les sites de revente). Ça n’est que mon avis après mes tests concluants. Merci surtout à la marque QED, à qui je resterai fidèle à l’avenir dans la conception et le prix de ces produits.
