Radex-ios app stopped working with the rd1212-bt almost a year ago, and it no longer shows map data from other users. will quartarad ever update?

Does the face illuminate on activity or manually?

Manually, to conserve battery. It will beep and/or vibrate if radiation levels is higher than the set alarm threshold.

This rd1212-bt unit states it is for outdoors but i don't see anything about water resistance is this any where near water resistant?

It has improved moisture protection protection, real-time charting capabilities and a slightly different firmware, because the unit was designed for engineers working in the field.
