Neat delivered product Review: A phenomenal narrative that delivers in each aspect it present, with few to no letdowns. - With the creation of this tale, came the creation of an entirely new genre, and H.P. Lovecraft absolutely outdid himself with this new fiction tale. Lovecraft conveys a frightening, yet compelling, narrative which delves into ideas that seem almost completely new to mankind. After the protagonist, Francis Wayland Thurston, discovers some of his late grandfather's belongings, he finds himself in a predicament with an ancient deity, named Cthulhu, who has been slumbering for ages, and Thurston becomes wrapped into the cult that follows. While he is most descriptive, Lovecraft also leaves much to the reader's imagination, allowing them to develop this story within their minds instead of just flat-out saying it. While many, including myself, would consider this book outlandish, it is impossible to deny it a place in literature history as a wonderful tale, which challenged common thought and brought new ideas to mankind. With a cliffhanger ending that borders on absolute madness, The Call of Cthulhu delivers in every aspect that it presents within the storyline, and begot a successful series to cement itself into history.

Look at dimensions of book before purchasing
Great graphics. The size was too much but that’s on me for not looking at the measurement.

The art gives life to the iconic story of HP Lovecraft and invokes the sense of mystery and darkness. Some of the art really brings out the immense scale of the ancient malicious being and leave the reader in awe. Book arrived in ok condition, no damages, a bit larger than I thought but well suited to capture those beautiful and terrifying artworks.

As a first time reader of HP Lovecrafts work I was recommended to give this one a try since the illustrations complement the language used. Absolutely worth it!

This has to be the perfect way to read Lovecraft's most famous story, the artwork is just....wow, it's beautiful. The tale itself is a classic and rightly so, it's one of HPL's best works, and the artwork matches it, really bringing the whole thing to life. It's not a graphic novel, but for some reason I found myself reading the thing almost as if it was new to me even though I've read CoC multiple times and listened to audio versions of it many times too. The author sells signed prints of some of the artworks included here and I loved the book so much I've ordered one for myself. I honestly can't recommend this book highly enough - if you are a fan of Lovecraft this is absolutely essential given how low the price is. I've also bought the two Mountains of Madness books and was VERY happy to see on the author's Instagram page that he's working on The Dunwich Horror next! Why are you still reading this review? Buy the book, and fall in love with HPL's CoC all over again (insert Kenneth Williams GIF here). Steven A. McKay, author of "Knight of the Cross"
