Good retrofit for CFL
Had to replace a CLF tube in a small bathroom fan, this fit perfectly and is brighter than the CFL was. Simple to use, required no modification.

Great replacement for fluorescent light fixtures
These lights are a fantastic replacement for CFLs in a couple of fixtures I have in my house which have bothered me for years. When the CFL lights were turned on, it would take between one and two seconds and some flickering to start, not to mention the buzzing. These bulbs are the exactly the same size as the CFLs and fit perfectly where they needed to go. They turn on instantly, there's no buzzing, and the brightness is the same as the old CFLs. Best of all, there was no need to bypass the ballast - It was a direct swap and the job was done.

Truly plug and play
These are instant-on replacements for the 2-pin GX23-2 CFL Light Bulbs. If, like me, you’re annoyed by the initial lag and blinking when turning on the lights, these fix the problem instantly.

Great product, one arrived broken
These are used for recess cans with a compact flourescent that sticks straight down. They are really common in kitchens and baths, installed to comply with energy regulations. They are often too dim or just take too long to warm up to their actual brightness. These are the answer! They come on at full brightness. This review is for the 4000k ones, they are also available in 3000k, that I think is more suitable for a residental situation, but my client wanted the colder color that his fluorescents were. I also bought a box of 3000K ones to use other places. My only issue is that I bought a whole box of 10 and got beyond the return window before pulling one out that was broken. It is separated at the base. (it actually works, but cannot be left hanging down) I suggest anyone buying whole box check their entire box right away. I'm stuck with a $10. lamp I can't use.

Super smooth problem solver
These LED bulbs with GW23-2 base helped me out in a pinch. They replaced the original compact fluorescent (CFL) bulb in a crafting light used for sewing and quilting. The light manufacturer no longer makes or has a source for the bulbs -- so I needed a substitute. These were exactly what I needed -- the right base, a range of color temperatures, and not too expensive. I pulled the ballast from the light to save a bit of energy, and because the bulb did not need it. Now the bulb lights up instantly, gives a nice bright and even lighting, and runs very cool. A happy customer, and a headache solved.

Perfect replacement for florescent originals
With fluorescents disappearing and bad for environment, glad I found these LED replacements. The 7W and 3000K is comfortably bright and warm.

Plug and play without messing with the ballast!
They're plug and play as advertised. We got like 90% off a light fixture we purchased because we liked it, and lo it's a GX 23 base because I'm an idiot and didn't look before buying a $229 light fixture for $30. It also only takes short bulbs, of which major manufacturers make a grand total of zero of in the right configuration, and the manufacturer of course does not include bulbs. A few gray hairs later (still reckon we got a bargain gray hairs included) these arrive, snap in with a nice snug fit, and presto! These are working like a charm. They are ul listed, so that says a bit about the company already. I'm glad I trusted an off brand for once.Don't let the picture fool you, they're about two times as bright as they are with those shades on. (1/2" thick alabaster) they are rather directional as well. If you're using these in a similar volume lighting fixture, expect a moody bathroom, but in thinner shaded fixtures these will be fairly bright. The color temperature is pleasant, very neutral light. Not warm, definitely not cool. Just perfect.

Plug-in replacement for ceiling fan/light.
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Just replace old fashioned CFL with this compatible LED bulb. Small enough to just barely fit in my second bathroom ceiling fan/light unit. In addition to using less power, this LED lights-up immediately. No more annoying delaying and flicker startup! Perfect solution. Just hope it lasts!
