10pcs Round Brush

I've only used them once so far but I'm very pleased with this brush set. I paint in acrylic and watercolor but I've only tried these with watercolor. They preformed great and kept a clean sharp point for some detail work. I'm very impressed for less than a dollar a brush.

I got this set after getting DUGATO's 13 pc long handle brushes. These are very lightweight in comparison to those set. The only problem I had was that one brush was used (it was missing the glue that kept it together when I opened it) and they didn't put the cap right. That's why some of the hairs are frayed. I immediately requested for a replacement and it arrived the next day. I got a much better set of brushes. Anyway about the brushes. They don't hold a lot of water because they're synthetic brushes. But it has a really good snap to it. It will definitely be good for detail work or polishing up details. The handle is light so it sits nicely in your hand. If you're looking for beginner brushes, I definitely reccomend this. It's affordable and you get your money's worth. 10 brushes for less than 10$. UPDATE 12/10/2019 I have had these brushes for a couple months now. It has been a pleasure to work with them. I've made many artworks with these brushes and I use them for watercolor and gouache. I have had no problem so far with them and they are well kept even though they have become my most used brushes. I find myself using number 7/8 and 5 and 3 the most in my paintings. General tip I can give is that, I would be careful if you're using this brush for acrylic. Acrylic is a thicker medium than watercolor and they also affect the brushes differently. Not only that, the way you clean them is different. Whereas with water soluble mediums it is easier to clean them with just water. Attached are some of the artworks I've made with these brushes. I am very pleased with the set of brushes. They hold a nice point while holding a good amount of color and water. I have not had any issues with loose hairs. I recommend these brushes as you have an assortment of sizes. The brushes feel good in my hand and hold color for a nice long stroke. They are a good value and I think that any artist would be impressed with them.

Nice and snappy but still hold a nice amount of water and will flex nicely to make beautiful flowers.

I purchased the set of 10 round brushes in addition to the Dugato watercolor paints. I was intrigued by the fact that they are made from a black synthetic nylon fiber designed to hold water similarly to squirrel hair. I love my animal friendly Princeton Neptune brushes for that reason, and when I saw that this set looked like a good quality for a significantly lower price, I wanted to try them out. The capacity was impressive, however they hold slightly less water than my Neptune brushes. Though, unlike the Neptune brushes they do come to a finer point and snap back into shape after each stroke which I think is more beginner friendly. Before painting, I took a few minutes to get a feel for how the brushes handled. I was happy that they didn't dump watercolor out in a big blob, but rather dispensed the water in a controlled manner. I was able to create small lines of fine grass or hair-like strokes with even the largest brush, and then press down to be able to fill in larger spaces if I wanted. Definitely a winner for beginner watercolor painters on a budget.

These are beautiful looking brushes at a great price. The construction however made them very disappointing. Three of my brushes (so far) have brush heads that push into the ferrule. Not individual hair, but the entire set of bristles moved up and down while I did the initial wash off of the compound on the bristles.. I was using these with a friend and was able to pull them to their normal position, but they quickly moved back into the ferule. These are so inexpensive that I will keep them, but disappointing nonetheless.
