I was reluctant to purchase this mat after reading the 1 ⭐ reviews regarding slippage and with this being my 5th mat purchase. I have not had the best luck in finding a mat that would stick to the tub and not be slippery. Personally, my experience with this mat is well deserving of a 5 ⭐ review. I wet the tub, as instructed, and put the mat down. I pressed it all over so it could get adhere to the tub. I then, just gave it a day and used the guest shower. I have taken daily showers since and it has not slipped at all. It is stuck to my tub floor. It has not gotten slippery from the soap either. I feel very secure and stable taking a shower now. It is well made, very durable. Water does not puddle up on it. It fits my tub perfectly and covers the tub adequately. I am extremely happy with this purchase and from my experience, I highly recommend it. It's a thick mat and comfortable standing on.

The thickness, softness, are perfect. Easy to install and doesn't retain too much water. Very easy to clean and does a great job preventing slipping. What I like is that it grips well and doesn't slide around. It prevents hair from getting in drain which prevents clogs and water accumulation. The only thing I would change, is it would be nice if it was big enough to cover the entire bottom of a shower, stall, instead of having areas around the border where you can slip because there's no coverage..

The cost of this bath mat was somewhat higher than most choices available on Amazon. After reading through my different options and doing a little homework, I decided to spend the somewhat higher price to purchase the Gorilla Grip mat. I was not let down. The mat arrived at my home tightly rolled and wrapped along with appropriate,instructions care recommendations etc. first off the size of the mat is perfect for a normal bathtub. The mat covers most of the floor of the tub as opposed to less expensive alternatives which only cover a portion of the bathtub floor, leaving large swaths of slippery areas. After pushing the mat down so the suction cups grab the tub floor and using the shower for the first time, I was blown away by the performances of the mat and the improvement over my old one that I threw away. This mat does not budge and is wonderfully comfortable on your feet unlike my last mat. The Gorilla Grip is an attractive color that goes perfectly with our bathroom. If one can be thrilled over a bath that Matt this is the one. The difference in price between this and other mats available becomes irrelevant once you begin to live with the mat. I am sure that I will enjoy the safety and comfort of this premium product for what I hope is a very long time. By the best and you'll be glad you did.

After reading many of the reviews for this mat, I was sold. Though it's bit smaller all around than my previous large bath liner, what I like most about the Gorilla Grip mat is that the suction cups are molded to the mat. My previous mat had suction cups at, were inserted in small holes in the back of the mat, allowing them to pop out over time, reducing its grip effect. This mat also has plenty of drainage holes, allowing suds and water to sluice away efficiently. What surprised me about this mat is how slick it is. I'm young and fit, but I'm now taking showers with great trepidation, as if I were a feeble 90-year-old with hip and knee replacements. I washed and soaked the mat before using, hoping it would help flatten it out and also get rid of the slippery texture. But after rinsing with enough water to single-handedly bring on the next California drought, it's still doesn't have an entirely secure, non-slip surface when wet. Which kind of negates its purpose. I'm going to try scrubbing it with a bleach-free scouring powder like Bar Keeper's Friend, hoping to rough up the surface enough so it's no longer so slick. Other than that major drawback, it does what it says, and when placed with all the suction cups securely pushed down and attached to the bottom of the tub, it stays put, while being easy enough to remove to allow for drying between uses. I only wish the surface allowed for an equally secure grip underfoot. Had a laugh at the cleaning instructions which advise not washing the mat in hot water. While most of us probably don't shower/bathe in scalding water, it still seems like an odd water temp restriction for a bath/shower mat.

Good product; non slip mat was great. Had elderly people visit our home, used this mat in out porcelain tub and our visitors loved the mat. Has held up well, very durable. We remove it after each use, rinse off the soap and droop it over the edge of the tub to keep black mold, fungus, gunk and bacteria from forming. Does not slide, sticks well to the tub surface. Does not feel slick to the feet when showering.

Very fast delivery and this is my second order. This mat sticks very well in the shower. Also very easy to clean. Very good quality and drys very quick. Value for money, light and soft .

Works well. Provides a non-slip surface. It does have that cheap plastic smell, but it will air out quickly. Machine wash would also get rid of smell. Holds up well with use. Lasts longer with fewer no or few machine washes. Good value for the price.

Purchased this so my young son could take a safer bath. It is nice and plush, allowing him to sit in the tub without slipping backward. The holes in it help prevent mold. The suction cups work great. This product is sturdy and durable. I highly recommend this product.
