This is excellent to use outside USA

This adapter worked perfectly for us and fit into Type C outlets reliably as we traveled to different destinations. I kept the small box that it comes in to protect it somewhat when not in use to keep from knocking the outlet prongs out of place. I love that it allows for multiple USB devices. Note: this is a plug adapter so US plugs can plug into non-US electrical outlets. It's perfect for small electronics that can take a range of input voltage. For example, Apple chargers take inputs from 100-240v and outputs the right charge for a particular device. It's not meant to convert power from one wattage to another. I saw some reviews saying their hairdryers and other devices were "fried". This convertor is not meant to convert wattage at all.

The TESSAN adapter was straightforward and effective for my trip. It fit well into outlets, and the dual USB ports plus two AC outlets made it easy to charge multiple devices at once. Compact and durable, it was simple to pack, and the surge protection provided some extra peace of mind. Overall, a solid choice for international travel.

This worked great for charging phones, Apple Watches, portable chargers, etc. but be careful that it doesn’t convert the voltage. The voltage in Europe (specifically Spain & Portugal) is way higher than that in the US. My hair dryer and my husband’s clippers did not work with this adapter because the voltage was too high. My hair dryer even started smoking!! Just something to know when traveling to Europe that we were totally unaware of 😊

Used these throughout France and Italy. They worked perfectly in every hotel and Airbnb I stayed in. Last converters I purchased for my trip to UK burned up my curling rod and steamer.

Good quality and works well!

Easy to use and great for charging phones, laptops, etc. It's a nice, portable size, its product pictures are accurate. However, and this part of the review is my fault and a result of stupidity: as I learned the hard way, do NOT plug an American multi-charger cord/surge protector into this while shirtless and keeping the cord/surge protector close. A loud POP, burst of melting metal and plastic, flash of warmth on my belly, burnt chest/belly hair, and a powerless apartment later, I remembered not only was that a stupid thing to do, this adapter plug specifically says it doesn't convert voltage. Excellent product, does what it says it does. Very portable and durable, good for travel to European and North African countries. Don't be stupid: read and remember all the pertinent product information.
