kid loves it but it was not held together right
the first time my kid touched it three off the dowels came loose and the beads scattered everywhere. we found them and it was a quick hot glue fix thank goodness. my kid still loves it but is hesitant to play too much with it cause they think it'll break again.

Broke twice in under 24 hrs
I have had this item for less than 24 hours and the abacus broke. I used some wood glue and fixed it. I went to put the blocks and abacus back in the box and saw that the box that holds the blocks was broken. Both broken within 24 hours and I know both were handled delicately as I supervised my 6 year old son the whole time. I wasn’t expecting much, but this is a horrible product. If the manufacturer would have used a different glue or a different joint style this wouldn’t have happened.
