Interlux Y90/QT Original Varnish - Quart

Used this product on an old custom door that was way to expensive to replace. Sanded and sealed with Interlux. Pros it made the door look brand new and seems to be holding up great in the Utah sun. Application was super easy, did use the special thinner 216/brushing liquid 333 between coats which made the product go on smooth. Used a foam brush for each coat. Cons you can only apply one coat per day, maybe two and about 4-6 coats are needed - so allow time. The sheen is glossy so its shinny - I am hopeful it will dull a bit as time wears on. Super grateful for this product even though it is meant for marine uses such as boats etc. Worth the cost! Will use again.

This varnish has great gloss and finish.

This varnish is absolutely useless. Applied it to clear sanded wood, after ten days it is sticky like a glue. It just never dries. Application instructions are unclear, claim some magic 333 dilution requirement, however, where do you get this magic 333 product? Besides a 10% dilution for a thick varnish like this is not likely to make any difference. Save your money and buy something better.
