Difference between max and compact ?

I believe the difference is that the compact is more compact in size thus better suited for traveling. I also feel the bristle design works better on short beard as well as longer beards since the bristles are more tightly packed on the compact design brush. The overall shape of the compact brush also conforms better to the face I therefore would highly recommend the compact over the max design.
