What is the $170 difference between the 520 and 410 grinders? Is the 520 built better or are there more features on the 520 which makes it easier?

I have both, the 410 has a smaller motor, and is made in China. The 520 has a larger motor, much higher quality hardware, and is made fully in Italy (when side by side there's an obvious quality difference). Both have the same parent company, Tecomec.

Will this sharpen a Stihl chain?

It will sharpen most Stihl chains.

Will this sharpen square cut chains?

No, none of our grinders will sharpen square ground chain.
