SYLVANIA - 9003 SilverStar - High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb, High Beam, Low Beam and Fog Replacement Bulb, Brighter Down Road with Whiter Light (Contains 2 Bulbs)

I like these very much for their somewhat brighter, whiter light without having to worry about blinding oncoming drivers. I don't have daylight running lights so I run my low beams all the time. Under those conditions they only last me about 6 months, so I carry a spare pair and order more when the first one burns out.

Fit perfect, great visibility, although not as good as white LEDs (still had a slightly orange halogen color). I had LEDs in my aftermarket non-OEM headlights for my 05 Tacoma, and condensation got in. I purchased these to heat up and evaporate the condensation and it worked. I resealed the aftermarket headlights and will be going back to the LEDs but for the price these are perfect. I highly recommend. High quality. Unknown on lifespan since it’s been 2 months.

I have a 2000 Miata and after going through two pairs of these things (the bulbs, that is) in as many years - or maybe less, I figured I'd do a little reading. Turns out this is about the life they are designed to achieve. So now what? Well, I tend to turn the headlights on even during the day as a safety thing, and I guess I'll do that a bit less in the future except on the Interstate where a car half the size of the average truck tire needs all the visibility it can get. However, we live in nowheresville Connecticut where the roads are dark and curvey at night. Well, they're curvey during the day, too, but anyway no doubt about it, these bulbs are much brighter than the OEMs so I will continue to purchase them. Indeed, I'll make it a point to keep a new pair in the trunk at all times. Interesting observation: If replaced at the same time the bulbs go out within a few weeks of each other, so 5 Stars for consistency, I guess. I suppose one could complain about the fact that the packaging provides no suggestion of this relatively short life, but hey, that's capitalism. And physics. In both cases you don't get something for nothing.

Definitely a much whiter light than my stock bulbs. Fits my 2021 Kia Soul S perfectly fine. Improved visibility. I hear they have a short lifespan so I'll come back with an update whenever it burns out.

Please read the product information which wasn't very clearly called out: these bulbs are rated 140 hours. You know, I run my lights about 2 hours a day. During winter it gets dark pretty early so lights are on at good 2 hours--not to mention I like have day light running on for safety, which means I am burning more bulb hours. Ok so at 2 hours a day, these bulbs really only is "rated" for....70 days? This is unacceptable. Secondly the light quality. These aren't really "whiter" by perception. They have good output but it's a bit stretch to argue better down road or whiter lights.... OK even if so... It's hard to get over these are 140 hours rated. I wish I knew before I bought. I would not recommend a set of bulbs rated to last maybe 70 days or maybe longer, call it doubled!---that's 140 says which is shy of 6 months.

Easy to install, best price available and they worked flawlessly. Only downfall is that I wish the light companies would put a little package of dielectric grease in their packaging for installation because I always forget about that and have to make another trip to the store for it.

Ofrecen mejor alcance al frente y mejor cobertura hacia abajo. El color no es excesivamente blanco, pero si se nota que no son los estandar. Ahora falta ver cual es su duración. El precio es muy competitivo comparado con otras marcas que revise antes de la compra. En la foto, a la derecha las luces de focos osram estandar nuevos. A la izquierda los Sylvania silverstar.

Headlights are just as described, easy to install. No idea of longevity yet.
