There’s no sign of leaks or performance degradation, which reassures me about its durability. **Final Thoughts:** This is a dependable and well-made oil filter that I trust to keep my motorcycle running smoothly. With another oil change coming up soon, I’ll definitely be purchasing this filter again. K&N 303 Is Exact Fit For 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX14. Easy To Install Due To End Nut.
⁃ The Black K&N 303 fit into my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX14. ⁃ It was printed ‘made in Thailand.’ ⁃ It comes with a protective polythene cover around the other/hollow end of the filter. ⁃ The description says that the gasket comes pre-lubed but I lubed the gasket with clean oil, the same Mobil 1 Racing 4T synthetic 10W-40 oil that I used for the oil change, just to be on the safe side. ⁃ I’m glad I bought this filter with an end nut. I tried to take off the OEM Kawasaki oil filter but I really struggled. I tried to use the right/correct oil filter cap wrench to remove the filter but it wouldn’t budge. The edges that the filter wrench grabs onto started rounding off and I knew that I was in for a long sweaty oil change. I had to use a big pair of pliers to carefully twist the oil filter off. What was a 1 hour or so job turned into a whole day’s job as I had to run to the store and get other wrenches that didn’t do the job and consult notes written by other owners of the same bike on internet bike forums. I was lucky that the filter finally moved. Many people in the motorcycle forums have turned into piercing the filter with a screwdriver (for leverage) as a last resort to remove it! ⁃ For this particular motorcycle, (2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX14) the 17mm socket works on the end nut of the K&N filter and removes both the oil pan drain bolt that you unscrew to drain the oil from the oil pan. So, you only need one socket for the entire exercise, a good thing. ⁃ The filter seemed to be of good quality and similar to the OEM Kawasaki filter. ⁃ The end nut is especially useful in tightening the oil filter to the correct torque specs. The manufacturer insists on torquing the oil filter and not using the hand to tighten it and second guess. ⁃ For this motorcycle, the oil filter is torqued to 23 ft/lb (31 N.m) The end nut makes it easier. With a small extension, torque wrench and the 17mm socket, you are able to torque the oil filter without being hindered by the exhaust pipes underneath. It feels ‘just right’ when torqued and the nut was not ‘rounded off’ during installation. ⁃ It has a hole at the end nut for those who race and must have all their parts tied up during racing. ⁃ No leaks so far in 2 weeks and 250 miles of riding. I bought another K&N oil filter and put it in stock for the next oil change after 3,000 miles. I never want to go through the experience of trying to get another filter without an end nutoff.

K&N KN-303 oil filter makes DIY motorcycle oil changes simple 🏍️
I installed this K&N KN-303 oil filter on my Yamaha YZF R6 during routine service. The built-in wrench-off nut is such a handy feature, I no longer need a separate filter wrench to remove it. It is built for high performance with premium filter media to trap debris while maintaining good oil flow. The fit was perfect and the sealing gasket seated well with zero leaks after startup. This filter covers a wide range of models including Honda, Yamaha and Bimota bikes from 1981 to 2026, so double-checking the product description is easy. Heavy-duty construction inspires confidence on long rides. I will keep buying K&N for my motorcycle maintenance

Very good filters.
These filter make it really easy to change full fairing motorcycles without taking the fairings off in part to the nut head built into it. In my opinion they are worth the money.

Does what it's supposed to do
Pros: built-in wrench-off nut, which makes removal simple, especially if you don’t have a lot of space to work with. I use this on my 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100cc, and I've had difficulty jacking it up, so with the limited space, it's nice to be able to twist off the filter without needing a lot of leverage. The build quality feels solid, with a durable canister and a well-made gasket that seals properly—no leaks or concerns there. It comes pre-greased, so it'll attach easily. No issue with installation at all. Overall, if you want a dependable, easy-to-install oil filter with a thoughtful design, the KN-303 is a great choice. I’ll definitely keep using it for future oil changes.

Gotta Love the Bolt Head
I've fought with motorcycle oil filters for years trying to get them off. They are usually too small for the standard oil filter strap style wrenches and a lot of the time tucked up under a fairing or what have you with not much finger/hand/grip access. The K&N with the little bolt head is just uber handy, use an open end, a closed end, a socket, a socket with a universal.....it's just too easy to remove these filters. As far as the filtering process.....I change my oil and filter after about 2500 miles and the oil is nearly honey colored still....I could give credit to the filter or the good synthetic oil, doesn't matter, the system works. Did I mention, I love the bolt head?

K&N , dus altijd goed

Gotta love the nut!
I've always been a fan of these oil filters for one big reason...the nut at the end. This has saved me so much trouble on my Honda VFR bike. The filter is tucked away behind the two exhaust pipes and fairing plastics. It's a bit of a pain to reach but with the nut at the end, it makes it so much easier to remove. This oil filter probably performs like any other and does what it is supposed to do. I have confidence in the "K&N" brand and will continue to buy them. Amazon is a great place to grab them too as they are priced about the same as my local dealer but I can order it anytime I want.
