Daystar Rocker Switch Blue Light 20 AMP Single Pole

These rockers rock. They work good, look good and the wiring is clear and easy. My only issue is that everywhere I looked, including here, and several Jeep sites, says that these are a direct fit for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. I was able to get them in with a little effort and some fear that I was going to break something. As you can see in the photos, they aren't quite flush at the bottom. It was a bit of a struggle to get them in the existing holes without modifying the opening in my dash panel. I am perfectly satisfied with the fit for my purposes, but if this was a paying job, or an install for someone else, I would have to break out the dremel tool and modify the panel (on the back). Fair warning. They work great.

It's a switch that switches what needs switching. I used this thing to turn of my LC7i from Audio Control as the darn things Auto off doesn't work. Turns out that this little bugger will fit right into one of the dummy switch openings in my console on my 2013 Subaru WRX. Musta been some unused slots for the STI or something. It was a perfect fix (sans some very minor trimming) and it looks as though Subaru put it there. My wife said it should be red but she's an idiot and shouldn't opine on matters regarding my manly little WRX! Very well made switch as well. The light isn't too bright when it comes on. Even at night it's not overwhelmingly bright so I'd say it's perfect.

These switches are great, for the most part. They click positively which I love. They fit absolutely perfectly in the Auxiliary panel in my '94 Jeep YJ. The suckish part is, they're kind of greenish, not blue, and they aren't wired exactly the same. (I got two of them) one is wired "power in-power out-ground" and the other is wired backwards. I got these switches for two separate wiring harnesses. The one for my light bar, the switch stays on all the time which I don't particularly care for. And the other doesn't. The light only comes on when activated which I like. I don't like having two different ones. It could be that the wiring harnesses are slightly different but either way, I kinda wish they were blue like I thought they would be and also I wish they were wired the same.

Really like these. I put it on my Massey GC2610 tractor for the 36 watt 7" LED light bar mounted on my ROPS. The 20 amp rating gets me away from adding a relay. Since this isn't going in a Daystar panel I had to cut a hole myself. Couldn't find any spec for hole size, so I contacted Daystarnet.com Saturday at after 2pm. I got a reply and the info within 2 hours!!! That is great response time on a weekday, simply fantastic for Saturday. Would be 5 stars, but hole spec printed on bubble card would be so easy... Oh, in case you need it, hole size is .41x1.71 inches. Thanks Don Mc at Daystar. Blue is light and bright. Makes it good for daylight view in bright sun. I would buy again. If it fails early, I will update my review. As of now, I am overjoyed with this switch. Gonna do the same lighting for sons tractor, so I got 2 of these switches.

I am kind of concerned with the switch I received. It didn't come in the daystar box and there are numerous differences between the one in the daystar packaging and the one not. Aside from markings on the switch body's there are a few structural differences. As you can see in the pictures the spade terminals are different sizes and the dividers between the terminals aren't on the one that was in a silver Baggie. I can't be sure if the switch is a true daystar and not Chinese knock off. It does however do what it is supposed to.

Installed this daystar rocker switch on a Toyota Previa. It does fit through the left-hand dash blanks with a little bit of filing the side of the blank hole. I purchased a saw filer at Home Depot, file down the sides a little while testing the fit, eventually the switch goes in through the rectangular hole. Switch is use to turn on/off the fog light separately from the headlights, switch feels heavy duty, good value. Only the color of the blue light indicator seem in between greenish-blue, otherwise very satisfied with this.

This switch worked great! Did exactly what I wanted it to do, which was control the function of my fog lights I'd recently installed in my Jeep. This switch lights up a bright blue when in use and this is useful because sometimes when getting out of your vehicle, you forget to switch off your fogs. This is bright enough that you will usually notice before you shut your door, especially at night. The switch is of high quality has a nice solid click between the rocking back and forth.

I bought two of these. One of them provides power to my ARB switches and the Dakota Digital air pressure gauge that monitors my ARB system pressure and the other provides power to another Dakota Digital air pressure gauge that monitors my airbag pressure. The switches closely match my ARB switches...which is nice because it just doesn't look nice when the switches on the dashboard don't match. Clearly labeled for ground, power in/out, etc. The light comes on only when you turn the switch on and is not very bright so the light does not present a night-driving distraction problem. Durable.

These switches fit perfectly in the pre made mounting holes in my 2004 Nissan Pathfinder (where the seat heater switches would be located), I just popped the covers off and snapped the switches in. They match the colour and look factory
