I bought these mostly for moving my daughter, using them for clothes, bedding, and stuffed animals. The plastic feels thicker than other brands (Ahem SpaceBag and Magic Bag) I've purchased in the past that never seemed to hold their seal. Out of the ones we used, one jumbo bag split open, though that was likely due to rough handling or a sharp edge in the car trunk. A few others didn't hold the vacuum long-term, but looking back, those were the bags where the clothing wasn't packed flat—just pushed in—and stuffed so full it was difficult to pull the seals together. Even those failed bags held their vacuum for several days until moving day, though. Care in packing and moving makes a huge difference; the bags that were packed carefully and placed inside heavy-duty extra-large moving bags stayed completely deflated during the trip, and remained sealed for a couple of days after the move. I chose the moving bags purposely because they fit perfectly under her 18" bed frame for out-of-sight storage, so they provide use past the moving date. I highly recommend saving the jumbo vacuum bags for fluffier items like pillows or comforters rather than packing them with heavy clothing, as the sheer weight can strain the seals. Also, definitely fold your items as flat as possible before sealing. Otherwise, you end up with a lumpy, misshapen brick that is impossible to stack well. If it is hard to close the zip-seals, it is simply too full. The variety of sizes is great; the medium bag fits perfectly inside our large carry-on suitcase for travel. To close them, the bags feature a double zip-seal. The included plastic slider clips do pop off easily, but it wasn't too difficult to just use my fingers to seal one strip at a time. I also double-checked after using the slider, as it didn't always seem to seal both zips and would sometimes catch on the plastic. However, because of that extra effort, it might be difficult to seal for someone with limited finger strength or arthritis. For removing the air, the included hand pump does a good job, but it is definitely a workout. It is nice that it screws in, so you don't lose your seal while pumping. Our shop vac didn't remove any more air than the pump, but it was lightyears faster and easier. As other reviewers have noted, I wouldn't use a standard household vacuum for this, as they don't handle the restricted airflow well. The hand pump would be great for traveling, though, because it is light and doesn't take up much space. Overall, a great, thick option for a big move if you take your time packing them! It keeps your items organized, clean, and easy to carry. And if Amazon is watching, carry handles would make this item 6 stars.

I bought the 6-pack of jumbo bags mainly for stuffed animals, yarn, and extra blankets, and they ended up being exactly what I needed. For an idea of capacity, I was able to fit an entire stuffed-animal hammock plus a laundry basket full of smaller stuffed animals into one bag. Another held three giant Squishmallows. I also compressed two full tote bins of yarn down to one vacuum bag, with only a small bag of currently-used yarn left out. The remaining bags handled more large stuffed animals, throw blankets, additional yarn, a couple of flannel shirts, and extra Poly-Fil. I packed these bags VERY full and haven't had an issue with the seals so far. The valve worked perfectly with my regular vacuum, which removes most of the air very quickly. The included hand pump is also useful for getting the last bit of air out when you want the bags as compact as possible, although be prepared for an arm workout if you do a lot of them at once. The biggest benefit for me isn't just that everything takes up less volume. The bags turn bulky, awkward items into relatively flat packages that I can stack under my bed instead of using multiple storage totes and valuable closet space. I paid about $25 for six jumbo bags and used every single one. For the amount of storage space they freed up, they were easily worth it.

These bags were thing, but held up-GREAT for saving moving vehicle and room space. The assorted sizes were essential for organizing various items. Having a non-electric vacuum on hand ensure that these bags can be reused of reorganized mid-move regardless of location. However The clip seal easily slips off, and the bags are difficult to seal without them.

I got the one pack with the three sizes. The medium is big enough for a large blanket I have, wool so I sealed it up during the summer. I would recommend getting a medium then a larger one for the things that don’t fit that, the large and jumbo seem comically large. Maybe good for a king size bed spread

The small and medium seem to holding up however I'm thoroughly disappointed in the x-lg and jumbo. I've been unable to get any of the jumbo bags to hold a seal and only 1 x-lg to hold. For this reason I give it only a 3. I know now to not order these sizes.

Almost perfect. Of the 20 bags, there are 3 that will leak air. The others are so tight and flat they are going to save me so much room in my linen closet. I’m holding things as large as a king comforter in the Jumbo. I wish all were working and not partially damaged; yet the ones working are doing great and it’s easy to use. I purchased an $8 electric vacuum for it and it makes it super quick to get them sealed tight.

It took less than 10 seconds to hand pump the small bag or a vacuum can be used to make the process extra speedy. We have been saving our child’s clothes for other children and the boxes had been piling up in storage. Using just a few of the small bags I was able to put 3 bins worth of clothes into 1 bin! A helpful tip I saw was to pack the bag, fit it in the box or bin you want it to stay in and then remove the air. This way the bag takes the shape of the container you want it to stay in. Deze kun je met gerust hart kopen en blijvend gebruiken, dat voordeelpakket is na 1 gebruik of tijdens al lek. Dus vooral dit merk zakken zijn n aanrader!

Veio muito bem embalado, são gigantes mesmo, cabe um edredom grande ou dezenas de peças roupas, o kit veio com a bomba para retirar o ar também! Vai ser muito útil! Recomendo

El pedido llegó rápido y en excelentes condiciones. Las bolsas por su parte, son muy amplias y realmente les cabe mucho. Las instrucciones de uso son realmente fáciles, la bomba para sacar el aire funciona perfectamente y es fácil de usar, solo que si es más fácil y rápido hacerlo con una aspiradora. Consideren que al ser el tamaño Jumbo, la bolsa es algo ancha, por lo que no cabe en todos los closets, sobre todo en la parte de arriba, solo es cosa de medir. Son una excelente opción, las recomiendo y ya estoy viendo los demás tamaños. ACTUALIZACIÓN: El material al ser plástico puede sufrir de pequeñas rasgaduras que hacen que pierda el sellado al vacio. Esto solo pasa si no se tiene cuidado al manipularlas o guardarlas, solo tengan cuidado al momento de usarlas y prevean que el espacio en donde las vayan a acomodar no haya algún elemento que pueda provocar lo que anteriormente comenté. Las aberturas que se hicieron en una de las bolsas fueron demasiado pequeñas, apenas perceptibles, lo que hice para solucionarlo y me funcionó bien, fue ponerles diures por dentro y por fuera, con eso quedó. Siguen siendo una buena compra.
