Excellent quality!
The barfly Julio strainer is beautifully crafted and compliments any bar. Heavy to the touch and has a quality finish that will stand the test of time. Barfly bar tools are great and easily recommended!

The strainer has some heft to it, and feels really solid. The color hasn't scratched or faded after a few months of regular use. A little spendy, but its definitely buy it for life material due to its durable construction

More than a strainer
This tool fits perfectly on a mixing glass for the first part of straining a drink into a small strainer over the drink glass. Only the goodies get through the double straining process. Simple and classy addition to your tools! Heavy weight and finished to perfection.

Nice quality julep strainer
A good quality julep strainer which works very well with mixing glasses. It’s a matter of personal preference what type of strainer to use when making cocktails. I tend to use the Hawthorne type for shaken drinks and the julep strainer for stirred ones. The julep strainer is a bit easier to clean than the Hawthorne and it looks stylish when used with a mixing glass. But there’s not really much to recommend one type over the other; both types of strainer work well and either can be used in conjunction with a fine mesh sieve to make sure that ice shards and fruit pulp are filtered out on pouring. If you want a julep strainer this one is very good and comes at a reasonable price.
