Gator Frameworks Desktop Mic Stand with Round Base and Twist Clutch (GFW-MIC-0601)

Needed something a bit taller than a tripod, and decided an adjustable was the one to get. But, I don't ever really use the adjustment. I keep it at the lowest height because it is a tad tall there already. But at that height I have my mic sitting perfectly in-line with my face, which is perfect for my dynamic mic. It's plenty sturdy, even with a nearly 2 lb mic on top, it would take some force to knock it over. Has a rubber piece on the bottom that keeps it in place, but also minimizes any feedback from desk slamming. Nice to have cable clip, and plenty of room to throw on any shock stand, pop filter, or other accessories. Overall, great stand. Couldn't be happier.

I'm using this as a desktop mic stand for broadcast industry standard equipment, and it's stable enough to withstand the weight. The clamp is nice to keep cords tight and out of the way. Swivel feature makes it versatile. My only suggestion is be sure to take precise measurements before ordering. While sitting in my chair at its highest level with the mic stand at its lowest level, I have to sit straight up to speak directly into it. Not a dealbreaker, just not comfortable for long recording sessions or streams. User error- lol.

Unlike the other stand i tried, this one actually does hold up my mxl 3000 microphone with the metal shock mount, which weighs about 1.5 pounds. Definitely worth the ~4 extra dollars over the other one. I'm planning on upgrading mics to a la320, which is supposedly heavier, I will update when I get it to see how it holds up.

Very good sturdy well made product/ wish it came with some adapters also wish it hadn’t been advertised as almost new when it was very obvious that this product had been used quite a bit… other than that the product itself was everything I wanted and hoped it would be minus the adapter situation,, nada

Do not buy these if you use a SM7B Microphone. They are sturdy and well built, but the handle that raises the mic up and down is way to big and it presses up against the mic cable and bends it to the point that you constantly get static. The only way to not have it bend is to raise the mic up more, but the perfect height if you use these on a table is all the way down. If the lock handles were smaller, these would be perfectly fine.

Maybe one of the best mic stands I have. I use it 5 days a week. I can use it with almost all my mics, except Shure super55, that is a shame. Otherwise it is perfect! 5 stars

I'm using this with a Rode Podmic, and it's working great. It's adjustable to a perfect height, and the heavy base is great because the Podmic is a fairly hefty mic. I've got a generic pop filter clamped on as well and while that part of it isn't perfect, it's the fault of my pop filter rather than the stand! Another great product from Gator!

great mike stand, sturdy and allows me to move mike to where I want it without janky boom arms getting in my way. I use it for video meetings and can keep the mike out of shot perfectly.

Der Mikrofonständer ist mit seinen 1,5kg schön schwer und steht sabil. Die Verarbeitung scheint gut, wobei ich mir wünschen würde, dass die Stange Gewinde des Fußes stabiler hält (dreht sich relativ leicht los - Dafür einen Stern Abzug). Die Höhenverstellung praktisch, wie stabil. Für den Preis auf jeden Fall kein Fehler.
