Only one flaw (spoiler: not the product)
This leash and harness set works well on my 9mo old kitten. The dog you see him attached to is actually the one that found this guy at 2wks old in our yard. Having 3 large dogs, this cat has grown up more canine than feline (hence his name Mogli haha!). Suffice it to say, he always wants to join the dogs outside but we live by a very busy street and were concerned with him being an indoor/outdoor cat. So this is where the leash comes into play. We haven’t done a collar before on him, let alone a harness and leash. This crafty fellow, like most cats, is very capable of contorting his body into the craziest positions, which made me naturally hesitant whether this would work. BUT, to my surprise, he hasn’t been able to get out of it to-date! Super simple construction and the leash clip is really cute (weird praise to give, but it’s a unique circular design which I haven’t seen before). I got this color because it was the one on sale and didn’t want to spend a lot on something I wasn’t sure would work out. The colors are vibrant and really nice…in retrospect it’s nice knowing that it makes him just a bit more visible. The leash is a bit on the shorter end. I think it’s a standard sized cat leash BUT doesn’t allow him to roam too much. He’s not a fan of having the harness put on (like most cats I presume), but he adjusted quickly to wearing it. I tightened it a little less than half way for his size so I feel like it’d comfortably fit a standard sized adult cat who may be a touch overweight. But I wouldn’t consider it appropriately sized for a very large or lovably chunky furball. On to the one flaw…and surprise surprise, or not so much of a surprise, it’s my cat…not the product. Now that he’s gotten a taste of the great outdoors, he’s OBSESSED! Before the leash he would edge towards the door every time I let the dogs in or out but he never went out; now he tries to find every possible way to bolt out the door. And with 3 dogs constantly going in and out, it’s a hassle to constantly go grab the leash and harness every time I need to open the door. All in all, keep that in mind when ordering. Not sure if all cats have this issue after getting their paws wet in the wild outdoors (I’ve only owned 1 other cat when living in the country and he was naturally an indoor/outdoor cat). But if you’ve got a super excitable, dog-like cat…beware because they may love the outdoors TOO much after using the leash and have you on heightened alert anytime you approach a door haha! PS For those who may be concerned - Mogli is attached to the dog who is most protective of him. Roo. She has taken an unnatural maternal stance for a spayed dog; so, when I’m working in the yard, Roo’s his “babysitter”. No cats (or dogs) have been harmed in the making of this situation haha!

This leash paired w/ a booster seat helps my Cerebellar Hypoplasia cat in car rides to vet
Preface/background: Waffles was born in December 2022 with (mild) Cerebellar hypoplasia also referred to as CH or "Wobbly Cat Syndrome." This is a disorder where the brain doesn't fully develop neurologically and the cat can have uncoordinated and/or jerky movements along with balance issues. Some cats are severe and have trouble walking along with other things and some have a more mild form. My cat, Waffles is mild and for example can't jump from the floor to a couch or bed, wiggle butt, when he runs in the house he sounds like an elephant bc he runs & walks heavy, can't stand up & stretch his legs out on you when he wants held or like when you're making food or getting his ready like some cats do, he wags his tail when you talk to him. He also thinks I'm his mom & is attached to me like a kitten to their momma in regards to following me, crying for me if I'm not in the same room, etc. You wouldn't know he had by looking at him other than the way he sits and "loafs." A comparing would be like a human that has cerebral palsy. Review: I wanted to give a background or preface to my review so other folks with a cat like mine or any cat in general, thinking about this leash will have helpful information. When Waffles was a baby, a vet trip in a carrier was just a regular trip and he didn't cry. Well, as he has gotten older, the last 2 trips he cried almost the whole time. The one I couldn't take him out bc it was just me driving & him in the carrier in the passenger seat. (I'd give him treats to calm him down). This last time, my husband was driving & I had him in the carrier on my lap. I finally let him out & all he wanted to do was look out the windshield & window. And didn't cry once & let me hold him the entire time, he wanted to face forward so his back/spine was against me (like holding a kid). I came upon a few videos on social media platforms where ppl had leashes for their cats (one with CH) and a booster. I didn't want a leash to walk him, so I never bought one. But when I seen thr one with a booster & the cat sleeping, I thought it would be great for Waffles. I started searching & bc of his issue with CH in regards to balance & coordination, I didn't want to get a vest type bc I was thinking it would be more confining and really mess with his balance. I choose to buy this leash when I came upon it bc of it giving more "freedom of movement" for my cat when he was put down to walk, plus the leash would work with a booster. I then purchased the UNICITII booster for small dogs & cats & put it in my Explorer & tried out the leash. In the video, this was his 1st time ever on a leash, which he done phenomenal on for any cat, bit especially great for a Cerebellar Hypoplasia cat! He absolutely loved being in the booster. He did get a little tangled, so that is a balancing act on the length of the leash/harness you give them so they can't escape. You can clearly see the next day (day 2) the leash paired with the booster, that he loved it. And the best part, which I love, I can take him like.this to the vet and then put him.in the carrier before I take him inside. It's a win-win for us. No stressing him bc he isn't confined anymore in a carrier where he can't see & doesn't is totally unbalanced (think eyes closed & feel like your moving sensation). No he can watch out the window and balance himself with a combo of the leash & booster. And no stress or heartbreak on me bc he is crying the whole ride to the vet. If you've read this far, as you can see the leash is great & less confining than other types. I highly recommend this one, even if it's just a starter leash bc it is a great value for the money! And let's nor forget the color is super cute and not just plain jane, too! Please give me a thumbs up of this review was helpful and/or you gained any insight from my review :)

Cute harness, check the neck when sizing to your kitty
This is a super cute harness, exactly as advertised. My only qualm is the length of the strap holding the two body straps together, where the leash clip is. It may be fine for a smaller cat, but it's noticably too short for my cat. She's fairly large though, between 10-14lbs (not even fat, just weirdly proportionately large for a regular ol' shorthair). It just doesn't leave enough room over her shoulders. So if the harness is fitted properly so it stays under her elbows, it'll tug on her neck. For shorter length kitties this shouldn't pose an issue, just make sure you check when you put it on so you're not choking your poor lil baby. And if it is, just loosen the neck portion until you can comfortably fit a finger or two between the front of their neck and the harness. Thats what we did to make this harness work for us. Worth noting: since my cat is so big, I was worried about the harness not fitting and I will say, if you have a particularly chubby kitty, this harness Will Fit! I had it maxed out expecting it to barely go on but actually had to take down the size by a few inches! So its definitely roomy in the width department, just needs work on that in-between strap. It could fit her comfortably with an additional 2-3 inches of length. The material seem fairly durable, and I actually really like the clasp on leash as well. All in all, I really like it! Just figured I'd warn anybody else out there with particularly long/large kitties so they think to check the portion of the harness at the front of the neck. Stay safe out there you guys! :)

Sturdy & No Escape
This is the second one I've bought. THRILLED with it. My cat uses it every day, and it's very secure and he finds it comfortable. I just recommended it to a friend. It's sturdy, long-lasting (I bought my first one 2 years ago), easy to adjust, secure clasps, attaches to leash easily.

Great but use caution!
This harness works great for our cat. We really needed one that wouldn’t restrict his motion since he’s pretty active. I like that there is nothing around his front legs and it seems to be the most comfortable for him out of all the harnesses I’ve tried. With that being said I don’t this it’s a very safe option for your cat unless it’s used with caution, and please do your research of how to use it safely to prevent harm to your cat. I don’t think this harness would work for a Houdini cat and I think it would be hard to find a balance between tight enough so they can’t get out and too tight. Also with the collar part and chest band being so separate, you run the risk of your cat getting out of one part and pulling with its full weight on its neck or ribs and thus injuring themselves. It’s not something you could pull your cat up off the ground to get them out of danger (not that you should ever do this with any harness ever but sometimes it’s just a reaction). I also would never use this as a tether outside or on a run line or do anything that would cause them to pull at the harness hard. If our cat ever starts to panic and run, I just let go of him(if safe of course) rather than allowing him to snap back at the end of the leash, then once he calms down I hold him still with the leash while I pick him up. We normally put it on him and let the leash drag until we need to wrangle him to put inside or redirect him away from danger but even then we never pull on it but use it to hold him still until he can be picked up. I’ve used it as a safety measure when he needs to be transported more to slow him down and make him easier to find and catch if he gets loose. Thankfully since this leash is so bright and multi colored it makes him really easy to find if he runs into a bush or gets under something. Overall it’s really great as long as you’re careful but there are definitely safer options out there that may be better for your cat and their needs.

Good for skinny cats
We have two cats, Bambi & Bartholomew, and Bambi has a thicker shoulder and neck area than Tolomew. Due to his thicker build, it seemed like the connecting fabric between the neck and body collar was pressing down on his shoulder blades, making him a little uncomfortable. Bartholomew was really comfortable and ended up being able to wear the harness to sleep. This is a good harness, and we’ll try again to see if we can fit it on Bambi, but just as a heads up if your cat has thicker shoulder & back, it might be a little work to use it

Very happy with purchase
I am very happy with the quality and style of this harness. My kitten is exactly 6 months old today, and he weighs 7.6 pounds. Since he is a sphynx he is hairless, so I wanted a harness that would not rub raw spots on his flesh, but also be snug enough he could not slide out of. The design of this harness will prevent him from backing out of it, since it fits around the neck and behind the front legs. It is able to be tightened enough to fit his slim frame, plus if I want to put on his sweater there is plenty of harness left to adjust for that fit. The buckle on the leash is metal, and the buckles on the harness are plastic; which I prefer to prevent any metal reactions on the sensitive skin of a sphynx. The colors of the harness/ leash are very attractive and perfect for either male or female cat. This is the first time a harness has been on King Tut and he didn’t seem at all bothered by it. The material of the harness is very soft and the stitching is done very well, and does not have rough edges (which some harnesses I’ve felt in stores have) which would rub on Tut’s skin and irritate him. He is beginning harness training indoors now, in preparation for warmer weather. I am very pleased with the purchase and believe this is constructed very well and will last a long time.

Good but short
I like it. Fit my 4 year old cat perfectly with plenty of room to accommodate a bigger cat. Unfortunately the leash is a bit short for my usage. Would've liked to give the cat more freedom to roam. Would work great on a dog though.

Sturdy, fits well, lightweight and easy to use.
Oh wow! This lead is fab! I purchased two different ones to try for my two boys, and this was the winner! It fits securely, the band stays on the cats back area (even without the lead attached) The clips are smaller than others and easy to clip/unclip. It feels well made, and sturdy. my boys adapted to it fairly quickly in comparison to the other which kept slipping off their backs. We put it on in a morning without lead so they know they can explore our new house in the areas that are safe. So they associate with freedom. One (Loki) is very nervous so isn’t too sure of the outside world yet, but no escaping. The other, Phantom is a little more keen and happy exploring a little more. No escaping so far, but my boys are pretty chill. Although Loki the more nervous one did walk around like his legs had shrunk for a few days while he got used to it 😅🙈 or just turned into a kitty puddle on the floor. But lots or treats and encouragement he now happily lets me put this on him each morning. Phantom adapted easily and didn’t seem to bother him at all.

The Purr-fect Blend of Style and Security
I got this cat harness and leash to use in conjunction with another harness. This harness I use specifically if I want my cat to be comfortable in a harness for extended periods of time (such as on an airplane) and not escape. Finding a harness that combines comfort, style, and escape-proof security has been a priority for me, and even a bit of a challenge as my cat is still growing. I have found that a lot of harnesses are not designed for her body type (she is quite long compared to other cats) and I wanted her to have enough space from her neck to the strap that goes behind her arms (armpit area). It never seemed to be long enough for her, until I found this harness. It was a good fit and she tolerates it as we go on adventures together. Regardless if I'm using this harness or the other adventure harness, I always use this leash. It's amazing. Its sleek and modern and it has a round attachment. It is secure and comfortable and just long enough for her to feel like she is exploring, but also gives me that security that I need to keep her safe. I like how this harness is very lightweight too. As for escape proof... this is the only harness my cat has not been able to come out of. I have tried many and when she gets spooked this is the one that I feel the most secure with. I also really like how putting on this harness is a breeze, thanks to the simple two clasps (one around her neck and one around her body). She doesn't like having harnesses pulled over her head.
