Really wonderful book. Full of powerful truths. I thank God for allowing me to find and read it. The spirit of intimidation is a subtle adversary at times. But in the end, “The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.” May we walk forward boldly as Christians who bear His light and at all times press on towards the goal of Christ. This book!!!! Wow wow wow! I think every one should read this especially pastors. The spirit of intimidation has infiltrated the body of Christ and we need to cut its access off now! I’ll have to read this a second time! There are also online discussions with John Bevere on YouTube about this book. It’s a great resource!

I read this during my engagement season, and it was so key to step into marriage with freedom and boldness to submit and walk with God.

This is what I needed to read. My eyes have been opened. I was under intimidation and I didn’t know about it.

Everyone needs to read this book! He gives the best guidance for living in this world and beyond! He uses biblical knowledge but especially emphasizes The Holy Spirit.

God has used this book so powerfully in my life! Intimidation shows it’s ugly head in many forms, but is always easily spotted when looking at the results/symptoms. I HIGHLY recommend this for every Christian. But specifically if you struggle with no longer seeing God’s giftings in your life or wanting it to show up for the first time, this is an excellent read! Speaks to both man’s difficulty with intimidation as well as spiritual warfare. Continues to bring the focus back on the relationship with God to assist with managing intimidation.

I was painting at my son’s house and he was hearing a podcast form Pastor John Bevere, while painting and listening, I was being bless by the teaching and when I asked my son the title he told me “Breaking intimidation.” Went home and got it on my kindle app. This book made me laugh, cry and I became angry with myself because this was ME, the thing that I WAS struggling with in my walk with the Lord. I have learned so much from this book, that people are telling me, “Jimmy, there is something different about you, what happen?” I would tell them, “in the name of Jesus I broke the spirit of intimidation that was oppressing me for so long!!” You will feel that someone spoke with Pastor Bevere about your life. Great book, great teaching!!! I would recommend this highly!!!
