Great coffee exceptional value
Great medium roast with no bitterness, even lukewarm warm. Decafe is a flavorful as the regular; I have both. Best ground coffee anywhere. I have been through about 20 lbs.

Smooth and surprisingly flavorful for a decaf, with mellow cocoa and nutty notes. Easy to drink and not overly bitter, making it a solid everyday cup. The downside: coffee fans who love bold, punch-you-awake flavor may find it a little tame. Delicious, fresh aroma!

Great taste
Good ground coffee to mix in my roasted bean coffee, and I love it.

Taste is ok, and good value, but weak for a medium dark roast
This is a good value for someone who doesn't need or want a stronger more robust coffee. I expected with the name being Cafe Special Medium Dark Roast, that it would be a little stronger, bolder coffee flavor. Compared to Maxwell House medium Decaf, it actually takes more coffee to get similar strength coffee taste. I used seven heaping tablespoons to make five 6 oz cups of coffee, and it tasted pretty weak. I am still experimenting, but even if I get a decent cup of coffee with say 3 or more heaping tablespoons per cup, that will not be a good value at that point. Again, if you like a lighter roast or breakfast blend decaf, this may be a good value & a good coffee for you, but I need a much stronger, more robust coffee flavor.

It's actually good coffee
All I want my decaf to do is taste vaguely like coffee. This was the cheapest thing I could find, so I gave it a go without any expectations. But it's actually GOOD - it has a taste, it smells good, very nice.

Not Special
I always liked community brand, but this decaf brand is no better than some generic coffees. Says dark blend was no stronger than the medium blends. To top that off I recieved a couple of weeks ago and expiration is Sept of this year. In other words a little over 3 months til expiration runs out. With all that said I wouldn't recommend this coffee it is about $3 more than some other brands and not worth the extra money. I won't buy again.
