Great for birdwatching in my backyard!
Just started watching birds in my backyard and these are perfect for viewing them easily. I keep them right beside my seat to view a new bird at a feeder. These quality binoculars make it so much easier to see the birds clearly so I can identify them easily! Quality at a good price! They’re easy to grab and I use them several times every day. I’m very glad I got them, well worth the money!

Optical quality is very good, price was reasonable.
I've had these about 6 months and am pleased. Optical quality is very good, price was reasonable and they're more compact and lighter than my old 7x50s.

Crisp, Bright images.
Absolutely love these binoculars! They delivers crisp, bright images with true-to-life colors, thanks to its extra-low dispersion lenses and fully multi-coated optics. The focus is quick and sharp, They feel sturdy with the rubber-armored body, and being waterproof and fogproof means I can take them anywhere. They are not heavy. Perfect for birding.—highly recommended!

Great Optical Performance. Ergonomics OK.
I'm a bit of an optics junkie. I have way more binoculars, telescopes and camera lenses than one person needs. I purchased the Vanguard Endeavor ED 8x42 binoculars a few years ago and it has been my primary birding binoculars. Recently I decided I needed another set so that I could keep one in the car and another around the house for yard birds. The Vanguards were great, but I didn't want to spend that much money again if I didn't have to. The specs on this Celestron set are very good and the price was by far the lowest I found for a binocular with ED glass. The Celestron binoculars were even slightly lighter than the Vanguards, so I thought maybe they would become my field binoculars instead. After a few months of using the Celestron in the field, however, I ended up going back to the Vanguards and using the Celestron at home for the yard and as a backup. The reason for the backup role has nothing to do with optical quality. To me, the view through the Vanguard and the Celestron are both excellent- very bright and sharp. The difference is in the ergonomics. The Vanguards just feel better in my hands. The materials feel a bit grippier and the contours fit my hand perfectly compared to the Celestrons which feels a bit more awkward to hold. I think I spend a lot more time hunting for focus on the Celestron than with the Vanguard. It seems like the Celestron has a shallower depth of field, so that if a bird hops to a slightly closer branch you need to refocus whereas the Vanguard would not need adjustment. It could also be that the focus dial on the Vanguards operates faster so it requires less movement to achieve focus. Either way, the Vanguard is definitely easier to focus. This is the main reason why the Celestrons ended up as my backup and not my primary binoculars. I would also note that it took me months of using them to arrive at this conclusion. It isn't the kind of difference I could tell by picking up the binoculars in the store and trying them out for a minute. Is this difference worth the extra $100 the Vanguards cost over the Celestron? For most people, probably not. You do get a nicer neck strap and case for that extra money. The Celestrons are still a very good binocular and I would recommend them to anyone for whom price is a primary concern. If price is somewhat of a concern but not most important, I can recommend trying the Vanguard Endeavor EDs as a step up. If money is no object, go for the Zeiss or Swarovski (I assume, I have not reached the money-is-no-object threshold to actually buy any Zeiss or Swarovski optics and see for myself!)

Perfect for Alaska
I'm heading to Alaska and binoculars are recommended. These are excellent in viewing, compact enough to pack, adaptive to a tripod and phone attachment. I'm hopeful to see magnificent wildlife and get good pictures thru the phone

Outstanding optics for the price
Beautiful set of glass at a price point that will allow usage consistently without fear of damaging/losing that pair of $500+ optics. A view through these optics presents a world that is bright, sharp, and colors true to life. The close 6.5’ focusing distance is appreciated for magnifying small wildlife such as butterflies. This may be owed to the extra-low dispersion objective lenses, however glare is minimal even when aiming the objective lenses towards the direction of the sun; color distortion is also maintained well in these optics. The only “con” I find can find with these optics is they suffer from slight pincushion distortion that presents at the corners of the FOV - but this is something minor that likely will not effect most users’ overall experience, and a flaw that can be overlooked at this price. I would highly recommend this pair of optics for beginner and avid nature observers alike.

professional high quality crystal clear lenses
high quality glass lenses make clear cutting edge images but they are a bit on the heavy side. not for children.

Great product
What a steal! I was quite hesitant before purchasing them as I felt the price might make it too good to be true, as well as some customers saying the eye cups were loose... however, I find there to be no issues whatsoever. I quite enjoy the feel of the eye cups, the body of the binocular is nice and rugged and most importantly, it delivers a crisp image. I look forward to using them on my upcoming safari. I previously used a Celestron Trailseeker as a safari guide that lasted 5 years and they remained top quality up until it started to fall apart. This was entirely due to wear and tear as those binoculars were in the sun everyday, were exposed during terrential rain and even sandstorms. I can definitely recommend Celestron.

Top drawer!
Great value for the money ! These binoculars give a sharp image, intense colours with the ideal field of vision for bird watching. They are light weight & easy to set up and operate. I did my due diligence before making the purchase and I’m very happy with the quality. I highly recommend them.
