Better inside than outside, but with some help can still work well
Ok so like others have said, it needs a little work to really function well, but it does function well and looks great. For one, the arms have no shape, so some filler needs to be added to give them form. (I used the small blow up bags that come in Amazon packaging - free!) Also, the shirt doesn't really affix to the collar of the head, and very easily exposes the black framework underneath it, killing the effect. So some double-sided tape made from folded-over duct tape did the trick there. Also, while I wouldn't say it was fragile exactly, it's kind of rickety in the way it goes together. Indoors it would probably be just fine, but any kind of wind gust will pretty much put it out of action. This is because it's made to be disassembled and packed into a smaller container when not in use, so the frame underneath the shirt isn't put together solidly at all, the pieces all just kinda sit there not really fastened together. There's also a metal rod supporting the head, and that in particular has been a pain because even a wind gust that doesn't knock it over causes the whole thing to pivot backwards, enough for the rod to fall out. The same thing happens if you push too hard on the head when trying to insert the rod - the body pivots, the framework separates under the shirt, and now you have to almost put the whole thing back together again. The rod mounting point was made even worse because I weatherproofed the electronics and moving parts of the frame with duct tape and a large plastic bag, and without realizing it when I did it, I made it more difficult to get to the hole where the rod goes in. Unfortunately we've had three or four days of heavy winds in Las Vegas during October, which has caused me to literally lay on the ground in front of my house getting the zombie back into position and getting that godforsaken rod back into the hole under its head. Other than that that though, it does look and function great, so what the hell, five stars. With my added paint highlights to it (accenting the bloody parts and a general drybrushing of the face to bring out more detail) it's a great addition to the front yard.

Super Cool!!!
When the box arrived, I was disappointed because it was so small (approximately 14" x 16" x 12"), I assumed the prop would be much smaller than I imagined. Boy was I wrong. As soon as I open the box I see the head of this thing and quickly realize that it is life-size. It is very easy to put the sturdy frame together and it worked perfectly right out of the box. Best of all, it does not look cheap or fake. The paint job and detail on the head and hands is haunted house prop quality. I have not run my fogger through this yet, but based on videos I have seen, it should work great. A word of warning however - there is no stuffing for the arms whatsoever, so If I were you I would consider stuffing the arms with some plastic grocery bags or something to give it some more realism because the shirt material just lays flat on the ground and looks weird. Regardless, this is just a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic prop that will make an amazing addition to my cemetary home haunt this Halloween.

Flimsy but works as it should stake it down and don't move it
This looks good the frame is made out of a cheap plastic that falls apart when you move it. If it is not on a flat service its head will not turn. It works as it should just very fragile. In the wind it blows over unless you stake it down.

Awesome Prop - if you want this for fog don't buy
Right off the bat, I love Stevie (we've been watching Schitt's Creek so the name was fresh). But this comes with some minor considerations and tweaks. The setup instructions weren't fantastic but I also don't think it was as bad as others described. My recommendation is while you're setting Stevie up have some duct tape on stand by and secure your joints and snap points in the frame (I also used hot glue to secure the collar to his neck and shirt to the bottom of the frame). Secondly, this is NOT recommended for outdoor use but I just had him out all Halloween season without issue if you do a few things to prepare. Look through the user photos. You'll see some where a someone used a bag to "waterproof" the motor. DO THIS. I used a gallon ziploc freezer bag. I also use a couple large binder clips to help secure the bag at the shoulders (I clipped the bag and the frame together below the shoulders.) Next you need to worry about the power adapter. I used a small SOCKiTBOX to protect the plug. Third I used Scotchgard Water Shield to waterproof the shirt. Just sprayed it on, didn't worry about protecting Stevie's hands (though I did take his head off for this). This just gives the shirt a little protection. Finally aesthetics and stabilizing. The reviews aren't wrong. Stevie is more gray than brown like the photo. I don't think it looks bad but you could certainly do some stuff to up the ante. I'll spend more time on this but this year I quickly rubbed in some wood stain I had lying around on patches of the dying skin. Then I used watered down red acrylic paint and filled in the areas that would be bloody. Did this to the tongue as well. You can really have fun with this and make him pop. I also thing you need to stabilize Stevie. I had considered stakes but I had some 1" scrap wood lying around so I just cut a long piece, spray painted it black and jammed it into the frame on Stevie's back side. This gives him weight and prevents him from falling over. Spraying it black just keeps it from standing out. Also use the plastic bag packaging you get in Amazon shipments to fill up his body and arms so it's more "human". Don't use newspaper...first rain and you'll regret it. On to the huge downside. Stevie is NOT a functional smoke prop. The motor is so weak that even the hose that comes with the prop will eventually cause the head to stop turning. If you're sole reason to purchase Stevie is to have him blast smoke out of his mouth while his head turning....save your money. But if you're okay with his head not turning, or like I did, had his head turn and just threw the smoke hose in the trash can than Stevie is your man. Overall super happy with the prop and he's easily one of my favorite additions this year.

Terrific detail and not a power hog
There were a few nice surprises when I opened up the box and put him together: The skin tone on the one we received is a bit more grey than the one pictured and I think it looks even better. The power requirements are very low, and the included DC adapter is only 6 watts. When we plugged him in and turned him on, there is virtually no noise when the head turns; certainly nothing audible until you get very close. This guy isn't giving himself away before someone has a chance to walk up next to him. One of the other reviewers mentioned using Velcro strips to keep the shirt in place around the neck - did that. Hat tip to you! Personally, I'd recommend stuffing the shirt with air packs (Amazon uses them for padding all the time). Newspaper has memory and could be flattened with a little bit of rain. Speaking of which... Another reviewer mentioned that this is intended for indoor use only. I'm going to try and get around this since the design looks easy enough to work with. The motor and DC adapter are what make this susceptible to the elements, but both are small enough to cover with a large Ziploc bag (1 gallon size should do it). The rest of the zombie is plastic and cloth so I'm going to take a chance and leave this guy out. I'll wait until Halloween night to connect the fog machine however. Very happy with this purchase! Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer. Cheers!

Do not buy this product and definitely not from this company
I typically do not write negative reviews but I had to do so for this product. I would not recommend buying this product especially not from this company. First of all I paid extra for shipping and it showed up late, and definitely not at the time that it was supposed to get here. When I complained to company and asked for my money back for shipping they refuse to reimburse me. I noticed they did not even ship out the product until a few days after I had ordered it which to me defeats the purpose of expedited shipping. Once I received the product it was broken in several places and it did not work as it is intended to. The head doesn't turn without hitting the power connector I had to try to make it work and even then I could never get it to turn the head the way it should. Furthermore the hose that comes with the mask did not fit the hole in the mouth. In other words the hose is too large for the mouth. the body itself is flimsy and does not stay together or stand up by itself once put together also it breaks easily.

Good quality and scary build, for a good price
Easy to assemble and great moving around, the tube for the fog is pretty hard and non malleable so it is a bit hard to get it to stay in the mouth, also you need something else to make it steady on thw floor as the head and movement makes it fall easy if there is a light touch or wind

Amazing Animated Gaseous Fog Zombie Halloween Prop!
I really love this zombie prop! Easy to put together and take apart, realistic looking and the fog that comes out of his mouth is amazing. My miniature poodle Tillie, has been barking nonstop at the prop. The prop states indoor use onlybut I have a covered porch and he will fit in nicely with my graveyard. The only drawback I had was keeping his shirt collar on the head while it turned. This was easily fixed with sticky Velcro.I highly recommend this Zombie!
