I got this bit of kit as I had an engine fault and my car was in idol and miss firing. It identified the problem and that it was injector 3. As these cost around £300 per injector it saved me paying out for all 4. As with most modern cars you need to code the part to the ecu. Luckily this bit of kit can do this. Brilliant. I did have an issue getting it accepting the code. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful and asked me to use a feature on the kit that records what you do, then you can download it on to a pc and send bit to them for technical support. I assumed it would be picked up by the computer like a phone or camera, but after further support from the seller, I found it in devices, like you would for a printer connection and that was ideal. Once you know you know. The reason it didn't accept the fuel injector code is because you need to add a 0 at the end. My car is an Audi but it seems to be the same for BMW's. Car run spot on now. It has identified a few electrical issues as well and I can plan this in. I also did a service, the oil service can be rest from the speedo, but an annual service requires this bit of kit. Quick and simple. Even if you don't fix the car yourself it always good to be able to check faults and know the problem before taking it to a garage. Just Googling issues won't tell you the actual problem. Great kit, come next day and great support from the supplier.

Absolutely superb, saved me a fortune in garage fees. I got this to program an injector I replaced on my Audi Little tip, if you only have 6 numbers to program in, add a zero at the end, job done. It's the very first time I used one aswell, very user friendly, I recommend watching a few youtube vids.

Excellent quality product used with no issues on 2010 Audi A1 and 2008 VW Golf Mk5. It is basically plug and play. Functions are accurately described on item description and I have used as many as I could and all seem to do what was claimed. It located all modules and in my case found faults on 3. It has paid for itself by enabling me to correctly diagnose failed Slip Ring. I also used it to check battery coding and identifed that the battery in the car was not the original and had not been correctly recoded when changed. The recoding took me a couple of mins. The bigger screen and real time data updates are great and I can see would be very useful if looking for a intermittent issue or as I did monitor battery performance on start up. In short brilliant piece of kit

This was bought for me by the other half. I have a VW Caddy, the passenger door would not lock/unlock. Have replaced the door actuator with no luck. Anyway plugged Ancel VD700 in easy to scroll through functions read/erase codes, ect: Although some functions won't work on my van. Fault code read door lock not working,insufficient power supply, gave me part number for window control unit. Even though window,electric mirror was working,bought second hand control unit, £19.00 a bit sceptical. Change part, guess what!! Door lock working. Well worth buying for any VW.

I researched many ODB2 readers and settled on this one after reading all the reviews, features and functions.... but there's one really important function missing on this unit which means I'd strongly advise buying something else. One of the uses of such readers is to clear errors and this unit does do that. The problem is that you have to scroll to each part, check if there are errors and then clear each error individually. That wouldn't be a problem were it not for the fact that many car errors today trigger other errors. One component failure on my car triggered 12 other component errors and it took ages to keep identifying them then erasing individually. It's a nightmare and if I'd know I'd have steered clear of this unit. So if you want to use on a modern car and value your time, find something else and whilst you're at it find someway to find out if the other unit has the feature to erase all error codes!!

The reader detects VW Crafter (07 Reg) correctly. It can read generic OBD2 error codes and VW specific error codes. However it's a bit of hit and miss when it comes to clearing error codes. It did manage to clear most of the VW specific error codes my Crafter had with only a couple of exceptions. However, it can not clear the generic P2BAC error code which I mainly bought it for after an EGR value cleaning. None of the special diesel functions, such as DPF Regeneration, work on my Crafter. Pretty much pointless buying this than VD500 which is only half of the price. Not sure how well it works on other VW or Audi cars.

Although this scanner can be used for many vehicles I particularly wanted this one for its extra VAG (VW) functions. I needed to recode my new diesel injectors. This it did. Very easy to use. Very happy. Recommend.

Salve a tutti, ero alla ricerca di un prodotto "specifico" per la mia auto ( Golf 7.5 tgi). Dopo diverse ricerche mi capito' di notare questo prodotto della Ancel che dalle caratteristiche si sposa con tutte le auto del Gruppo Wag. Mi serviva un prodotto che mi facesse cambiare le pastiglie del freno posteriore ( eletttrico) della mia Golf. Questo prodotto fa al caso mio. Molto semplice in se per se nell'interfaccia ( alla consegna arriva in italiano diciamo non tradotto perfettamnete) poi scaricando gli aggiornamenti online dopo essersi iscritto al sito del costruttore si puo' scaricare i driver completi in italiano. Ora e' perfetto per lo scopo. Possiede dei sotto programmi specifici per la vostra auto ( grupppo Wag) ma anche per tutti gli altri marchi ( programmi piu' generici) Fa la diagnostica di tutte le cntraline della vostra auto, cancella gli errori, controllo chek della batteria, lavora sul motorino freni elettrici per il cambio delle pastiglie e altri 5 programmi che devo ancora provare. Robusto al tatto con cutodia in gomma per proteggere dalle eventuali cadute. Si autoalimenta con la batteria auto e per scaaricare i driver ha in dotazine un cavo usb. In sintesi consiglio vivamente il prodotto per tutti gli usi sopra elencati ad un prezzo al dire il vero non esagerato ( pagato 85 euro in promo) e come sempre perfetto nella consegna con Prime. Satisfait après de nombreuses utilisations.

Pues he comprobado que me da información mucho más precisa que el que tiene mi mecánico! Lo he usado en un Skoda y me ha dado con toda precisión cual era el fallo del airbag, mientras que el de mi mecánico daba un error genérico. También me ha diagnosticado un error en la sobrealimentación del turbo, y hasta luces fundidas y la antena de la radio que estaba rota! Da muchísima información sobre los parámetros del motor, luces, tablero, etc... Pero ojo: hay que ir a la opción del segundo icono (que pone "For VW") y ahí hace un escaneo profundo de los errores y te permite acceder a los parámetros de lectura de cada modulo y borrar errores. Si se va al icono que pone "OBDII" lee códigos DTC, que mi Skoda no guarda, y por tanto no sale ningun error ni apenas información relevante. Si se accede al icono que pone OBDII en mi Skoda no lanza ningun error, ni siquiera el del Airbag

Das Gerät wurde zur Rücksetzung der elektronischen Parkbremse an einem VW Passat genutzt. Funktion ist einwandfrei, Bremsscheiben erfolgreich gewechselt. Auch die anderen Funktionen sind äußerst hilfreich und sparen die Kosten beim Freundlichen (z.B.Registrierung der Batterie nach Batteriewechsel). Das Gerät mach einen soliden Eindruck, liegt gut in der Hand. Alles in allem ein gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis, die Investition wird sich schnell amortisieren! Absolute Empfehlung!

Ho ricevuto lo scanner con la lingua Italiana già installata e con il manuale in Italiano, fa alla perfezione quello che deve fare per le auto del gruppo Volkswagen, in particolare la diagnosi completa dell'elettronica di bordo, il reset longlife dei tagliandi, l'apertura delle pinze dei freni posteriori, ecc... Per i veicoli di altre marche, interrogazione memoria guasti, spegnimento spie avaria e altro. Aggiornato il firmware all'ultima versione senza problemi, l'unica cosa da fare è registrarsi sul sito anceltech e scaricare quello che serve.
