Surprisingly good
I was looking for a healthy snack with no sodium, and this fit the bill. It has a great mix of different macro and micro nutrients: you could theoretically get more than half of of your calories just from this. The taste is sort of like soy sauce or toasted sesame oil, without any saltiness. It's good and hearty. It's way more flavorful than I thought it'd be, and very different from either frozen edamame or other dry edamame I've tried. It's not *super* crunchy: the crunchiness is similar to almonds, I'd say, though a bit more chalky in texture. They are very dry-tasting, so some may find it difficult to eat a lot of them out of hand just due to the dryness. And when I ate 100g of them in one sitting, that upset my stomach a bit. I will definitely be making these a regular part of my diet. I think that I'll generally just eat 30-50g of them plain as a snack, though they'd probably also be good on salads or as a topping on hearty dishes. It might actually be good to grind them and then use them as a breading or seasoning on e.g. chicken.

Crunchy, Healthy Snack Without the Salt
These edamame beans are a great high-protein snack without the salt overload. They’re crunchy, nutty, and satisfying on their own or tossed in salads. I also grind some into flour for baking. The 2.2 lb bag is huge—great value compared to store-bought small packs. Fresh and not overly dry like other brands. A healthy pantry staple.

crunchy snack
Ok, ok, I admit it; I'm a snack-a-holic . Especially on the weekends. I love to snack on ANYTHING while watching sporting events. You name it - I'll snack on it: Chips, Doritos, pop corn, sugar frosted flakes from the box, etc, etc, I seem to need to chew on something first with flavor being second. I know snacking isn't healthy but self control doesn't appear to be an option for me. Even fat free pretzels aren't good for you as they have tons of carbohydrates. So, I resorted to Edamame but, while being better than my usual snacks, they also aren't that healthy as they are loaded with salt and artificial flavoring. These YuPik dry roasted, unsalted soy beans are just what I'm looking for --> low on salt and artificial flavoring, crunchy with some taste. Just 140 calories per 1/4 cup of beans and that is a lot of beans. With my trusty 18oz mug filled with water, I eat ONE bean and then take a sip of water. I don't gain weight or drive my sugar sky high. These roasted soybeans come lose in a bag. To help my weak self-control I put 1/4 cup of soybeans in a small sandwich bag and keep it in the big bag. That allows me to bring the smaller sandwich bag to my chair rather than bringing the big bag. All that works for me and I can tell that I'm going in the right direction as I can snack and my blood sugar count doesn't go sky high AND I'M LOSING WEIGHT ! ! If you are in the same boat as me then I recommend that you try these roasted soy beans as your go-to snacks along with a mug of water (that's spelled w-a-t-e-r not b-e-e-r ) You can also feel good as these YuPik roasted soy beans are very inexpensive.

Great Product
If you are a fan, these are tasty. Might be bland for some people, but you can add flavor if you want. The nutritional profile is excellent.

Fresh and Flavorful
These have quickly become my favorite. The beans are of high quality and fresh to the taste. There is no moisture in the bag, so the beans are completely dry. I bought the bigger bag because I use them all the time. They are absolutely great on salads!

Super protein packed snack with no sodium
Super snack packed with protein and no sodium. It's hard to find a more basic and protein packed snack than this. Although I don't have a medical sodium restriction, it happens that I generally just don't care for very salty things. I don't care if there's sodium in something as long as it doesn't taste very salty. This makes the perfect snack for me. Sometimes I just grab a handful and snack on them as is. Sometimes I'll pour some in a bowl and sprinkle with some Tajin Twist. I also toss a spoonful on our salads every night. My husband thinks it's just ok. He thinks these are dry and tasteless. He'll eat them on our salads because they get tossed with dressing, but he doesn't care for them plain as just a snack. To each his own, I guess. For me, they are crunchy and a much healthier snack than many other crunchy things. They're also easy to just toss in a ziplock bag and carry in my tote for a quick snack on the go. Packaging is great in a resealable zip top bag. Expiration date is a ways out, but it's a big bag so I split the contents into smaller bags and tossed all but one in the freezer.
